Looked up a couple of you tube vids, looks like the camp runs off the diagnostic port, is that right?
If so its no good for anyone with and aftermarket ecu.
Yeah but to change screens you need a remote that controls the ej1, mine didnt come with it so i have to try and figure out another way of controlling it.
im guessing michael was, back then, in the same position i am in now, just got one and anxious to fit it.
I did pm michael to try and get some help with the remote for this dash and never got a reply so i dont want to hassle him any more.
Been on the by pass a few times, nice road, very tempting to open it up, especially since its very open and theres not many spots for radar wielding bears to hide.
sorry to bring up an old thread but im about to install one of these, problem is the white wire is actually a double wire, that is split at the plug and goes to 2 different pins, can any one tell me what it says about it at the top of the wiring pic?
Im pretty sure air horns are illegal in vic, dont know about nsw tho.
i know the horns in my nc fairlane are pretty loud, maybe try a set of those, pretty sure there the same as ea and eb horns.
Here is a pic of my tyre placard, 7.5" is listed and as there is no pressure rating for the front that would suggest that they were only on the rear.
BTW any one know someone who can replicate these, i want one made that has the 7.5" option and 17" with and front and rear pressure rating.
A mate has a master power on his xe falcon, external gate, shitty home made log style exhaust manifold, standard engine and it made 180rwkw on 8psi, he wont take it above 10psi till he gets a new engine built.
If you need a hand sorting this out let me know i have all the files here, have done it to my 8gig and works great, depending on what you have the firmware might need updating as well which makes the internal gps work better on older n95's.
from what i have been told full seam welding is actually a bad idea, things still twist and flex a little, full seam welding will result in breaks and cracks else where, stich welding is the way to go.
