  1. i would use the harder one, cant see any reason why they would get harder with age, but would definitely get softer.

  3. maybe the gtr one is dead, put the old one back on and see what happens, the stock one is meant to be handle 1bar.
  4. when i got my car it had 2x12" pioneers, changed them for a single kicker 12" and it sounded great, untill it died, there warranty is not worth shit either they kept sending it back saying they couldnt find a problem, bought another one since i had a kicker box and that one died as well, now have a single jl 12" and it sounds awesome.
  5. When are they going to start airing the tv show?
  6. lol, yes i know, Thius is melbourne tho, it was sunny the day i got the new wheels so i thought i would take a pic before it went away. Also mine are really bad, only takes a couple of days after i do them for then to start to fog up again, have a new set here but need some other new bits befoer i put them in.
  7. Maybe you should try to get tricky, set up another one like that, take a pic of the car with a normal lens then move the car and take a pic with the wide angle and then do a bit of photoshop and combine the 2.
  8. looks like a stretched 33, so thats how they look as a limo
  9. My 33 is either 1400 or 1450 cant remember, i know the 32 is a fair bit lighter, hence the nickname "the whale" for the 33.
  10. too far for me, was hoping to run this weekend and then the next one in a month after i had put in the pfc, z32, injectors and fuel pump and had it tuned and compare times, i guess i will just have the "after" times now.
  11. Makes for nice power to weight ratio
  12. Found it.
  13. How do you sign up to get the sms updates?
  14. i got the manifold for 175, gates can be expensive, a mate has one on his turbo xe falcon that is a cheap 60mm ebay job, costs around $150-$200 and he has not had a problem, would probably cost about $500 all up, but when you consider a good ebc will cost you $400+ and an external gate will work a lot better then its not all that expensive after all, plus it will be a good set up when you go an even beigger turbo in the future.

http://www.driftline.com.au/ was the first listing when searching google.
  16. they will already have it on there computer, if not it should be on one of the tags inside the engine bay.
  17. The easiest way to do this is to figure out how much power you want first, if you want 300+rwkw then that turbo wont be much good due to the .6 rear and the fact its probably bush bearing, if your aiming for 200-250 then it will probably will do the job, but so would a high flow which would cost you less in the long run due to the fact that it is a bolt on, no need for custom dumps or inlet.
  18. there is a thread about this with pics HERE And here is the one i just bought off these forums.
  19. If its going to be used mainly as a track car i would suggest having an external gate welded to the top of the standard manifold, next best option would be an adjustable internal gate, i have a hks one that works well, that is assuming you are only going to use one boost level. The problem with all internal gates is that they start to bleed boost before they get any where near full boost, an external gate does not do this and does not have boost flare either.
  20. Dont bother, from what i have been told anything you do on the street is no where near the same as calder due to the surface being completely different and a lot more slippery.
  21. Good to hear.
  22. yes
  23. When i went to an optima battery i found that the battery clamp had been closed right up, just had to spread it apart a little and it fitted perfectly over the terminal.
