is there any reason why this is in the forced induction quick ref guide, there is no real help here unless i missed something, some one had a flat spot and does not know how he fixed it, what help is that? there is also a lot of reference to a dyno graph that is no longer here.

out of interest have there been any tests done that compare a smaller thicker core to a bigger thinner core?

this is not a good way to start on these forums, try searching, any turbo that can go on these cars usually someone has already done it or researched it and there is a post on here somewhere about it

i have a high pitch squeal from my turbo, only use to happen when it came on boost hard now it does it every time it comes on boost i know from other people that it is shaft play, but you believe what you want to. look at it one way, time to upgrade

so you have a hks adjustable actuator and just want to know how to adjust it? on my turbo you have to disconnect the arm from waste gate end then loosen the nut on the shaft, wind it out and tighten the nut again.

what power do you make? from things i have read you need a lot of boost to make power. i also thought that jjr and kkr were the same just different badges.

im calling shaninigans, there is something more to this that your not telling us. how much of an arse hole are you to them? are you known to them for other things? or maybe its just that the car is known, do you have personalised plates that the previous owner had?

So you are getting 275 rwkw with the standard air box?

is that a standard S1 front bar, mine is the same and from other pics i have seen i was under the impression that it was an m-spec, if it is standard them im happier because i have lost one of my grilles and it will be easier to find if its standard.

with the amount you are getting hassled im thinking maybe your car is known to them from a previous owner.......

i would spend the money and get the gaurds flared properly, no bolt ons, they look good on old school but look cheap on new school.

does it come with the fitting kit? im assuming it is the same turbo as here http://www.tweakit.net/shop/product_info.p...roducts_id=6598 and that one with fitting kit would still come in under 2500 delivered. is there a difference between yours and theres and can you do a better price with out the dump pipe as most people want one of these so it will bolt up to the dump pipe they already have.

but it does blow cooler piping off. I had a hks on mine, caught a speed hump and ripped the bottom out of it, had a cheapie sitting around from years ago that i bought for an rx7 project and never used so i put that on, the old hks use to easly hit .50 bar and when hitting boost hard use to go to .63, now with the new no name cooler on it only just gets to .45 without booting it hard and when driven hard only makes .55. from this experience i my self KNOW that the no name brands are not as good as the name brands, and in this scenario im only running stock boost since the turbo is shagged, how much more will it cost me when the boost is turned up.

i like the description "Great for short trips to the shops" im glad they said that, now its worth buying, couldnt think of anything better to do with it oops race use only, will have to race to the shops then.
