What i meant was the hks camp wouldnt work in a skyline, but that lists a cable for the consult port so it should, but only if you still have the standard ecu. Also i would take note of all the extra bits needed at the bottom of the page you linked to (unless it will all work through the consult port) that was exactly the sort of thing i was looking for, pitty no one told me about the consult port cable back then, just thought it was OB11

Yeah, if you dont have the ej1 then the screen is only use for as a tv or reversing camera or some thing like that. Also there is no oil pressure or boost pressure, it has rpm, speed, power (how it gets the power im not sure but it was pretty close), gforces for accelerating and breaking (no side to side) and then a whole heap of pit stuff that somehow gauges tyre wear and other stuff. I didnt like it and got rid of it, wasnt really what i wanted, was just a little gadget to tinker with. Dont remember what site still sells them, will have to do a search.

Also do you just want the dash or the epson ej1 to go with it, i believe some jap sites still sell the dash for $700-$800 but the epson is the bit that is rare

The simple answer is that if you really want one you look every where for one and if one pops up you pay what ever there asking as you may never see another one for years, i have seen 2 for sale in the last few years and i bought one of them.

At the end of the day though it is just a deterrent, if you have personalized plates that some one really wants there going to get them, but in the case of some one who just wants plates for a drive off or robbery the next car up the road is going to have normal screws so they will just move along.
