You dont need it, especially if you plan to get a reputable tuner to tune it, they will already have the right stuff to tune it via a laptop.

That would get you standard kyb shocks and rda slotted rotors with good pads im pretty sure, check the group buy section. And if you are willing to share the info, a lot comes down to just how cheap you got it for.

I have also heard mention that when you beef up the auto and run something like a powerfc you need an auto controller box, will one of these compensate for the ignition not being changed?

I rang them and told them if there going to drop the agreed value then i will go elsewhere, they said there was nothing they could do about it. That sounds way too high, if my S1 has a market value of $12500 i cant see a S2 being $6000 more expensive.

I just got a quote from famous, my quote from justcars was $1030 or $1107 for pay by the month with the car insured for $12500, which they had dropped from $15000 agreed value, standard excess of $500. Famous quoted me $1590 or 1701 for pay by the month with an agreed value of $15000, standard excess of $1000. Another point is that with justcars my stereo is insured for another $3000 but contents insurance was not offered through famous, if my car gets stolen and never recovered/destroyed with justcars the excess is $2000 with all up insurance of $15500, through famous the excess is $2000 and insured for $15000. Thats my comparison of the two, shannons was about the same as famous but the excess was the same as just cars.
