There is a place on hammond rd in dandenong advertising $800 spray jobs, was getting some work done at the exhaust shot next door and had a look at there demo car, looked like they hadnt even washed it before painting it, the guy at the exhaust shop said that there had been some really nice jobs come out of there tho, probably not $800 tho. I have not done the section between marysville and mansfield but if the roads are distinctly marked on that map i would assume they are sealed roads, i would assume that the dirt roads would not show up till you zoom in a lot closer. As for places to stop, i know healseville have a few nice cafe's, would also assume that mansfield and yea would have as well, let me know how you go and how long it takes, will be buiding a new engine in the next 6 months or so, looks like this would be a great trip to run it in on.

My avcr displays speed, boost and revs, my power fc hand controller displays knock, volts and injector duty, i think there is one other that i cant remember.

I also would have gone that route to check the cams instead of pulling everything else off. I personally think the problem will be something odd.
