  1. This car is still for sale. Asking $35,000 or near offer. These are now quite rare. Cheap price due to r33 rb26dett engine and black paint. Good value Frank
  2. Hi, Do you still have your car? Perhaps the cars could catch up? Does anyone want to give me an offer???
  3. Hi Glad to hear you are still around. Time flies. I think its 5 yrs next month. Certainly is your old car. There was some head damage but basically it was quicker to get another motor at the time. Planned to rebuild the old one with all the good bits but one of those things that hasn't happened. Certainly have all the bits to build a really good one. I would imagine whoever bought the GTR would want at least the old block. The new motor is a R33 GTR. RB26dett Rings, bearings and turbos overhauled. Goes very well. Getting almost the same hp you were getting with just a little extra boost and a fairly standard motor. GTR still goes well. Nice and tight. Scary fast. Got in touch with the original owner's son who told me it was his mother's car mainly. She had it painted black. Like to sell to someone who will appreciate her. Frank
  4. First owner was apparently a well off dentist with a country practice in Bunbury. I assume he actually wanted a black one in the first place. Perhaps out of respect to the cat?? Under the bonnet certainly doesn't look as though its been changed.
  5. The first owner painted the car black after hitting a cat very early in the piece. Apparently Black was a $5000 option. I think all the Australian cars are a light grey under the bonnet.
  6. 1991 R32 GTR Australian Limited Edition Model 100 cars were brought in to homologate race cars for Bathurst. 65-85 were sold privately and the rest were raced. Priced at $ 105,000 in 1991 Genuine Godzilla. Australian spec cars not identical to Japanese spec Model 40ZKBNR32RX Chassis 016042 Build date 5/91 Confirmed in Nissan Tech Sheet T 434 1.8.91 Delivered by Alf Barbagallo Nissan in Perth Western Australia Original manual and "how to drive your GTR" in leather compendium come with car. I have owned the the car for 5 yrs having bought it after an idler pulley failure at 245,000km. New RB26dett engine (3000km ago), clutch, brake rotors, pads and master cylinder have been fitted. It is in excellent condition, drives very well, only needing some cosmetic improvements to be perfect. I have many spares that could be part of a deal but will only sell the spares if the car is sold. Spares include a complete engine needing head reconditioning. Short engine. 4WD R32 GTR gearbox. Nismo Group A spec RS 581 turbos. 700cc Sard injectors, Tomei cams. Aftermarket manifolds. This is a rare, collectible car that will appreciate in the future but can be enjoyed and driven regularly now. Also listed on Carsales.com.au and Unique Cars June Edition. I would like a quick sale so asking $ 37,500 Frank 0429681100 ( please ring WA time )
  7. Hi Are these the standard R32 GTR injectors? And if they are, could you post to Perth? Redzed
  8. As far as i know they are original. Not an expert though.
  9. Can anyone tell me the best way to buy a car in the Eastern States and import into WA. Both for new and second hand cars. I have been told that I will need to pay stamp duty twice or else that unless I can prove I live in, say Victoria, I can't transfer or register the car into my name. Obviously people buy cars in ES and bring them to WA. Can you help?
  10. Wanted to get it up and running at the time. Have original block etc. Probably enough bits for two engines but not the enthusiasm. Frank
  11. About 4 years ago bought an Aussie R32 GTR with a damaged engine. Apparently the idler puller had let get (when it was idling, cooling down after a dyno run) and did major damage to the head when the timing went out. I replaced the motor with a fresh R33 GTR motor (I still have the original motor plus a spare block, head and gearbox, other bits like dump pipes and bigger turbos). New clutch, new brakes. I have only driven about 4,000km since the new engine. Overall mechanically good.Interior very tidy. Minor cosmetic body problems and a few spots of rust near windscreen that haven't changed in 4 years. Pretty much original condition except for bigger intercooler and exhaust.Drives well. 246,000 kms. I no longer have much opportunity to drive it and it is a car that would do better being used than stored. I was hoping it may be an appreciating asset but I am not sure if I should sell it or store it for 10 yrs. I am not sure what it would be worth as there are a couple of these, possibly better condition, chasing $78k and $60k. Any thoughts? Frank
  12. R32 GTR Aircon stopped working. Wasn't cold. Before that the compressor was making a bad noise. When I turned aircon on the engine revs would go up and down every few seconds. I thought this would fix itself when I had the compressor changed and the aircon regassed. Unfortunately it is still happening. I have an apexi power FC. Anyone have the same problem or know whats wrong? Frank
