  1. Hey guys I'm a bit late to the party here but thought i would share this in the Four door family in case any of you want to check it out... There is a build thread under "Motorsport Builds" - 'R32 Gtst - Track Car' which will hopefully be getting an update soon to bring everyone up to speed as its had a few big changes recently as you can see in the pic below the car now has more Aero and a new colour theme as we continue to develop the car.   3. Any news on how your tune went ? im interested to know... Jamie, Brett, Phil and Justin all do a killer job as ive worked with all of them and I can back what they do as i used to work there ! the quality of the tunes is top notch and if you think they are expensive then whats your engine worth at the end of the day ? Id say it would be a bit more then $1700. And if it wasnt just a basic retune then half of the posts in this thread are useless as the hours that go into dailing in cams (CORRECTLY) and tuning for early boost delivery are more then just a couple of hours labour !!

  6. bit of an update dunno how many of you guys n girls are tearing your hair out trying to find lowering springs for your stag's... ive been looking into it for a while now for my missus car (1999 Auto RS4), finally bit the bullet and decided to get some after a bit of playing around and a few issues i think we have sussed it out. Im a Mechanic @ Tokyo Motorsport and Ive been working with our local Pedders Suspension store in Cannington, (Perth) Western Australia for the last week trying to setup a decent set of springs that fit correctly... Fronts: Fronts is easy I fitted 33/34 GTR front springs and they are sweet cope with the weight awesome and most of that boat like feeling is gone from the steering. Rear: Rear Skyline srings are to wide to sit on the spring seats properly so i would advise not to try and fit them as it is not safe, atm the new springs (From a different listed car) are fitted to the stag and im letting them settle before i try and explain what they are and how they look as we have been taking a few pics along the way... i will keep everyone posted over the next week as the springs settle so we can find out what the ride height ends up being and how the overall handling is. If anyone else has had issues with the rear spring diameter not fitting the rear shocks id also like to know how you solved it Cheers Trav

  9. hey guys n girls im just putting the new dvd player n stereo in the missus 99 rs 4 and i cant seem to find a decent hole in the firewall on the drivers side to run the power lead from the battery... the grommet on the drivers side only seems to go as far as the windscreen wiper motor... just wanna know where everyone else has run their wiring through... the rest is easy Cheers Trav

Hey man yours auto or manual/rs4 or 260rs ? you fit them yourself i take it, they fit up/bolt holes n stuff all lined straight up ? got any pics of the coilovers ? were the rears an eyelet or were they the fork style on the rear ? Cheers dude thats clearer now i see it written down ive read so much in this thread since we got the car 2 weeks ago i dunno whats what now will see what happens if i can get them cheap might just try em out can always sell them on if it dont work out haha ...

Yer i had my Cusco rear toe arms sieze on my s13 just put them in a vice and unwound them n cleaned them as you said also helps if you put some "antisieze" on the threads helps to stop them binding up from a build up of shit in the threads... On another note has anyone tried to fit R34 Gtt coilovers to a 99 s2 RS4 before (i know the argument is that normal shock valving is weak but u would assume aftermarket coilovers wouldnt be to bad)... found out a friend has a set he is selling n was thinking of seeing how far out the fitment is for the stag's cause i was thinking of getting them for the missus...

  13. hey everyone just wondering where you guys run the sender for your water temp gauge... Top hose or Bottom hose ? as ive heard of ppl running them in both hoses on the RB motors... Cheers Trav
  14. so we are saying 2wd/4wd switches on a 99 RS4 S2 Stag is a big no no ?? Correct ?... how can you tell if the box is already rooted as it seems to drive really nice n not have any issues when i drove it 2day for about an hour ? missus is buying one its got a 2wd switch in it the dude 'says' he has only used it once as he never drives it (works offshore, months at a time and switch is only a few months old) please anyone who has had experiance you words of wisdom will be appreciated... Im going to call the workshop that fitted the switch in the morning and try and get some info on WTF the go is... Cheers Trav
