  1. I had a 040 in mine was a pain in the ass to install and was bloody noisy to. Walbros probably the best option price wise just make sure you dont get one of those cheep chinese coppies. cheers
  2. Just read the new wheels or motor mag HSV is releasing a GTSR, 7.0 litres, and 365kw. So ford falls behind once again cheers
  3. Hi-Flo, GTRS but my choise would be the apexi AX53B70 very responsive and good for around 240rwkw with supporting mods, mint on these forums is fiting one soon I beleive cheers
  4. Well it was certainly interesting (and lucky) to see that the turbo didnt blow. I wonder what the turbo would boosted to. cheers
  5. I have one of these on my R33 it seems to run 9psi to 5000rpm then 11psi till redline used to do the same thing on the R32 it came off. Any ideas why and yes the 2 stage boost soliniod has been disconnected cheers
  6. On second thoughts your right, the stock R33's with no kit look funny with any bigger than 18's though cheers
  7. Only been to the drags once got all the supporting mods but have a Safc no power fc. Managed a 13.6 @ 105 with a 2.3 sec 60 foot time, on a 30 degree day. The run I had was against a stript out BMW M3 with track racing tyres and few other mods. He ran a 12.9 @ 105 with a 1.8 sec 60 ft time. As you can see from the time slip there was nothing in it other than the launch I actually felt I was slowly reeling him in 3rd and 4th gear. From this experience I think you would need some really good street tires with 60ft time bellow 2.0 to break into the 12's. So it is very possible That was about the best I could do with 17/45/235 hankook silica tires. cheers
  8. Those ones look great and would suit the car really well I recon in 18's any bigger than thats to big IMOH.
  9. With the silvia diff im unsure but with the skylines 4.11 its 1st 60 2nd 100 3rd 150 4th 200 5th dont know cheers
  10. Have a look in the group buy mate you can get one for $90 delivered. This is what I did when I got my belt changed, only gained 5kw but for $90 thats not to bad. You only need one for the exhaust side as the intake uses NVCS. Have a look at the link below for more info on NVCS. cheers http://nissanskyline.6te.net/NVCS.htm
  11. Yes, and my apology's as I am not sure of the existance of a power FC for a VQ ill have to edit that page. cheers
  12. 1) Bosch 040 - internal 2) 33 GTST, mild mods, std turbo, approx 200kw 3) - Ease of installation: pain in the ass to get the fuel new pump back into tank. - Noise level in cabin: no extra noise - Starting issues: need to prime sometimes but no dramas. - 1/4 tank syndrome: none. Because I modified the bracket so that the intake sits in the same place as where the stock sock did. cheers
  13. It responds well to turboing but there is not alot you can do to get more out of it if you keep it in NA form. Overall it has plenty of potential but mods are very expensive. http://nissanskyline.6te.net/tuning_350GT.htm cheers
