  1. bro go 2 Advanced Allow Repairs in moorabbin....they repaired a hairline crack for my 18" bbs rim with 1 yr warranty for $120.....its more than a tube, but less than a new rim!
  2. bro.......have a look through the tradingpost If i were you id prefer an r33 gtst. Simply because, looking through the trader, you can get a series 1.5-2 (around 95-97 model) skyline for around $16k. Its good value for money especially in terms of age. They also contain at least driver side airbags. Although, dont expect the r33 to be that quick, in terms of performance I believe the s14 is quickest but lacks comfort and room. Good luck
  3. man that is the absolute worst drive (melb -bris).......i would never do that again
  4. Congrats man!! Your really lucky the car was used for driving purposes otherwise you would have been returned with half a car. And to get away with those three minor things, thank your lucky stars
  5. I know its a pessamistic approach, but seriously it is simply a waste of time contesting the new regulations. I am sympathetic to various people who will be out of employment and whos businesses are in jeapordy. But there is no longer such thing as people power. You can barely contest a parking infringement even if your claim is ligitimate, how in the world are you going to overturn the governments decision?
  6. I pretty much guarantee there will be no GPWC breakaway. Ferarri just signed with Eccelstone for a further 10 yrs. The rest of the teams would most likely follow suit. Im a massive fan of Ferrari but they are starting to piss me off. All teams except Ferarri have permitted Minardi to use their 2004 car. It looks as though they wont be able to race until the 3rd or 4th GP (with their 2005 spec) unless the vote is unanimous. Its stupid since they would still be WAY off the pace even with the new regulations.
  7. is this estate down springvale rd before cheltenham rd? like closeby to the henley properties?
  8. so does that mean there will be 12 teams lining up on the grid in 06'? does the concorde agreement have any influence on the number of teams permitted?
  9. Its not confirmed but I reckon hes back for sure. In my opinion Red Bull have no other option. They obviously need experience to provide credible feedback to engineers and they need a driver that is reliable and reasonably quick. Speculation has it that RB will opt for 1 full time driver and two part-timers that will alternate through the course of the season. Obvously DC would be the preferred full time driver. I think its a pretty good idea.
  10. Funny thing about these times is that Heidfeld completed less than half the laps Pizzonia did due to technical failure. Piz must have been humiliated irrespective of the testing programs scheduled for both. lol hes got no hope now!
  11. congrats mate.....all that hard work in the lab has paid off looks like ill be visiting you in 4 years time for some dodgy medical certificates to get off work
  12. I had big hopes for Jaques too. But the last 3 races for Renault were not too impresive compared to Fernando. Hopefully he just needs time to adapt. I think the conditions on the track for todays testing were fairly damp, so i dont think those times a really indicitive of the fields true performance. eg Schuey Jnr was 4 seconds off the pace
