  2. So incidentily would it show smaller dips for less then "bad" wheel spin, consitering the losses were only in the region of 35+ kw? Just like it shows on the sheet. I dont care if i "win or loose" a dyno comp, i dont care if my car wheel spins on a dyno, i do care about what a dyno operator says about integrity of the people i use to work on my car. but that is ok, i didnt mention anything here, i didnt even mention the dyno operators name, your the one who brought it up here, i talk about my experiences and opinions on my website about my cars.   3. check the graphs and make up your own decision, you can see at peak torque the power dips and is all wavy from then on, also the torque curve turns quickly depicting what wheel spin would to a dyno graph. This in its self I have no problem with, if you car wheel spins on the dyno so be it, it spun, but the part i do have a problem with if for someone to turn around and tell me there is 100% no posibility,no change ever that it wheel spun, and that my previous runs are "reading high" because of a higher ramp rate used, when after i found out what ramp rate was used,his comment is completly untrue. So that is my opinion, you have your opinion.

  5. he doesnt use that auto tune stuff, well i dont have it on my computer. that auto tune is a extra option u have to buy. but also if you go aftermarket you get say nitrous control air temp compensation anti lag rotational idel etc
  6. i mean even i want a power fc, for my pulsar, just the ease of instillation and just unplug if you want to eturn it to stock is very good, just tedious to tune, got to weigh up the good and bad see what you want really.
  7. john is good me built and tuned my 650 hp sr on the power fc thing, they are still a pain to tune with the hand controller, so if he doesnt want to do it who cares, he sticks to what he thinks is the best. Needless to say power fc has many advantages and has its place but for all out motec/autronic standalone is supreme

    new ride

    i smashed my sr box in lik 1000 km on street tyres, with like 244 rwkw, and from what i have seen, a s13 and s14 bax are the same, just s14 could be in better condition because of age.

  13. Unknown japanese brand, comes with rail suit r33, also fits into S13 with slight mod to rear right mount, fibreglass back, with black padding in good condition no rips or burn holes, but slightly faded. Some sort of japanese drift sticker on back. $450 ONO

  15. i stil dont see how regency can take off another states defect notice.
  16. I just done the brake fade and lane change test, so easy was done in under a hour per car and cost me $900 LOL. I jsut got to goto regency now and all legal, ill tell u how i go.
  17. dynapack is a hub type dyno? if this is so it can be a reson for higher readings to a normal chassis dyno.
  18. Yea i have a SMC as well and quite happy with it. For this car i would use a power FC as well as easy of instillation, but i didnt understand the autronic bashing.
  19. JPC vl turbo. autronic and autronic CDI, makes the power but i dont know how, it uses usless CDI. Thats just an example i can think of off the top of my head.
  20. whats wrong with wasted spark anyway? ignition problems? get the autronic cdi, that has so much power you can melt the end of the spark plugs off if you wanted to. If your going to try blow out that spark **** knows how much power your going to be making. autronic can controle the standard idel controle valve, air con idel up, colsed loop functions so i have no idea where it is so called not as good. If autronic is so bad then same goes for motec as they are nearly identical as they come fromt he same makers after they broke up, and how many motecs do u see in japanese cars, alot if they are so bad.
  21. when you do an engine conversion you have to do an idel emissions test just to make sure everything is ok etc.
  22. yea, regency arnt concerned about power, thats why they said i can not mofify the motor to have any more power and/or torque of a standard sr20det motor. /sarcasm off
