  3. Hi folks. The events team has cooked this one up as a double edged sword. Firstly, to introduce some of our newer members of SAU to the wonder that is Tuesday Night Dinners which is run every Tuesday without fail, and to come for a meet and greet every week as well as excellent food on offer (usually!). The second reason being REMORSELESS DOMINATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC BY THE COLLECTIVE KNOWN AS THE BORG SKYLINES AUSTRALIA Come one, come all, and test your wits and your palate to sample the best The Glen Hotel has to offer in food and entertainment. The Glen Hotel cnr Logan Rd and Gaskell St Eight Mile Plains 4113 (07) 3341 9222 Please RSVP in the thread with your (and possibly friends) attendance so we can get a rough idea of numbers. The earlybirds are encouraged to secure enough tables and seats for the rest of the group as the trivia itself is first in, best dressed. Hope to see some new faces, and hopefully become regulars If you would like to learn more about Tuesday Night Dinners or many other events on offer, head over to http://www.sauqld.com.au/ and create yourself an account. 4. is this a troll, or a joke? or both?
  5. Hi guys. As part of our ongoing plan to offer more 'events', this week's dinner will be at the Newmarket Hotel where they have a Sit-Down Comedy Club thing every Monday and it's an open mike night. Seeing as this is the night before April Fool's, it should offer some excellent laughs, perhaps maybe we have a comedian in our midst who would like to try their luck? Newmarket Hotel Enoggera Rd (cnr Newmarket Rd) Newmarket 4051 (07) 3853 2000 No booking required for this one, but I would still like folks to RSVP in the thread so the earlybirds can snaffle some tables and get us set up and ready. Aim to arrive at 7pm so we can get dinner out of the way before the comedy starts at 8pm. Plenty of parking in and around the hotel. If you'd like to find out more about regular events that SAUQld runs, check out my signature down there VVVV for a link to the Official SAUQld Website. The List Lebowski: Mel
  6. to all you armchair justice leaguers; why bother with two sides of the story? NOTHING justifies getting beaten up that badly. period. edit: those of you that think the guys in the skyline may have deserved what they got, pending information, are f**king idiots and no better than street thugs
  7. i hear the netherlands is pretty chill and right near the autobahn
  8. too many dumb knuckledragging f**ks i don't use the word bogan anymore, because it's not solely them to blame anymore it's every other australian in this damn country that has taken on this pigheaded attitude that they think they can stomp around and ram their opinion down other people's throats with force to feel big about themselves .. whoa sounds like america i was at the PCYC 'hoon' night at toombul shopping centre last thursday and some wanker aussie in a VE ute as he rolls past, yells out "NICE 33 WANKER" to my friend, then parked nearby. I mean why would you even smacktalk someone at a car meeting like that unless you wanted to start some shit just because what? you're bored? wanna feel more man? it's not all bad news for skylines though, the weekend hoons scene is just as happy to have a skyline or commodore come along for the festivities, everyone's there to have fun i'm confused
  9. seriously f**k this country, redneck americans are better behaved
  10. weird, i know tons of people with ferrets but strangely have never heard of anywhere to obtain one
  11. pretty sure the stoat is native to the UK, not sure about other countries you could have a ferret sure i want a wolverine ! (probably unable to, dangerous pet etc) ps. wolverine was that jaws of steel looking badger thing attached to the guys boot in the gods must be crazy
  12. any native australian animal will need a special permit in pretty much every state (unless you live in NT where the cops just don't give a rats arse) but they'll let you own shit like rabbits and hamsters which escape and breed go figure
  13. ah nice i wondered who was in the 31 going sick
  14. i'll be going to watch again, it's always good entertainment look for the silver 4 door 34 around the far side somewhere trying to get a good view !
  15. seriously the tuesday night dinner thing is awesome, we've had a flawless record for having them every week why else would we ?! if trivia is not your thing we have other special tuesdays planned coming soon !

  21. yeah we were all "want to make a donation mate?" "nah sorry no change on me" haha
  22. Your mate in that blue 33 was an absolute tool on the freeway, not to mention the locking up of brakes and nearly causing a horrific multi car pileup, yeah ok. I wasn't witness to the 31 slagging myself, but by several accounts it didn't seem like the nice thing to do. As for the internet nerds, I don't know who you were talking to but most of the club have a life outside of computers, unlike yourself obviously who seems to have quite a bit of practice at internet rage. Thanks for coming guys, but behaviour was a bit on the delinquent side... which in turn attracts cops. The rest of you who pulled skids out front, thanks for not doing it on the grass, but it would have been nicer had you not done them at all
