  1. obviously the Yellow Pages would tell me. It will also tell me where I can get a gardner or a hooker...... But I'm asking where I can get a RWC on a car forum where there are a lot of modified cars for a reason... Its actually not for my modified car. But a stock standard BMW. I just find wherever I go, the RWC places will ping me on something different expensive that they can provide the work on, whether it be new suspension arms or brake rotors, but the funny thing is if I go to a different place, they don't recognise the supposed "problem" that the other place happened to ping it on. I've been to three places now and they all want $1000 + for different repairs.

    Rwc Needed

Just wondering if anyone knows any good places to go to, to get a RWC. Or if anyone is able to provide assistance.
  5. What differences are there between the red top and silver top RB20 stock turbos? Are they both ceramic turbine? Did the red top come stock without a BOV?
  6. sn00p on this forum is in the process of doing an rb25 into 180 conversion.
  7. Yeah if you are going from rb20 box to rb25 I'm pretty sure you don't need to modify tailshaft. It's only if you go from auto ca18 or auto sr20 to manual rb.
  8. Yeah, what I was saying to work out the wires (under the hood), is to follow the old reverse light wires from your old auto gearbox if you changed to manual. Follow the wires from the old auto box upto where they would've plugged into under the hood.
  9. Do you have any pictures of your water to air setup? Did you put it on yourself? What difficulties did you have with it?
  10. I don't know if this helps but with converting my s13 to a rb20 box, I disassembled the bit on the side of the old auto box where the stick comes down and triggers circuits and figured out what it did when you put it in reverse and then followed the appropriate wires and worked out which two were needed to complete the reverse light circuit (only two are connected when you put the stick in reverse)
  11. 1986 Ford Laser (not the heaps square ones) Hatchback Auto Sky Blue colour Very reliable, economical transport. Perfect condition mechanical and exterior 194,000kms
  12. Yeah, I had the same problem after my conversion. While doing the conversion, in an effort to work out why I wasn't getting ignition, I mucked around with the crank angle sensor and when I finally got it going, it was retarded so on idle, it would nearly cut out then rise then nearly cut out again, one of the first things I checked was the CAS and this solved the problem.
  13. I've probly already asked this on another forum but how did you go about solving your engine height problems? or did you have any engine height problems?
