  1. Hi All, I am selling a Genuine Nissan Z32 Air Flow Meter. I paid $300 for it new 6 months ago, but the car has only been running for 3 months. It ran perfect, only reason I am selling is that I changed to an aftermarket ecu and decided on a speed density tune (ie no afm required). Excellent Condition Sell $140 Can post to anywhere in Australia. Jeff 0400648813
  2. Rob at Sabbadin Auto was excellent. Went there today and he found no leaks which is good but bad cause I am trying to troubleshoot a hesitation near idle. For future reference the following places had a smoke leak tester: Dr Drift HPF Sabbadin Auto
  3. Legend, thanks! Its not close but thats ok, calling em now.
  4. Yeah tried that but could only reach about half of the connections. I have heard brake cleaner also. Pretty keen to do a full smoke test, but thanks.
  5. Hi All, As the topic states I am looking to diagnose a potential vacuum leak and would like to find somewhere with a smoke test machine. Preferably out west but I have tried quite a few with no luck, so happy to travel. Any help much appreciated!
  6. I have had a lot of people asking about the bracket, pm "DattoP510" on this forum. He sells them. They are excellent quality and powder coated.
  7. I replied to NIS.26L's sms. Will give him till later today to reply and then let you know dkbcleaner.
  8. Hi, I purchased this fire extinguisher for $40 and this fire extinguisher bracket off DattoP510 off this forum for $90. It comes with the bolts and is a very cool finish. It bolts up to the front bolts of the seat rails so the fire extinguisher sits sideways in front of you underneath your legs. I have never used it but others have said that it easily passes all track day requirements and normally gets a positive comment. Never used, selling because I have sold the car. Cost me $130 combined. Sell $50 for quick sale (plus postage or pickup from Altona North, VIC) Jeff 0400648813

Brand new heavy duty battery Brand new Splitfire Coilpack Brand new 2way alarm system Brand new australian standards Mongoose M25 immobiliser to satisfy insurance Front: 235/40/18 Maxxis Victra Z1 60% wear left Rear: 265/35/18 Federal RSR 90% wear left Modifications done in Japan: 18" BBS RG-R Forged Monobloc rims, front: 18x8.5J +36 Rear: 18x9.5j +38 Genuine Nissan Aero front bumper bar (plastic) Genuine Nissan Aero side skirt (plastic) Matching Rear pod (fiberglass) Short shifter First thing I did was completely overhaul the suspension including bilstein shocks, king springs, nismo diff bushes, whiteline adjustable sway bars etc etc. All work completed by Chris at Centreline Suspension who is an absolute guru with skyline suspension. $5k of receipts. Power mods I have had professionally fitted: Full exhaust system JJR 1 piece dump pipe, Venom 5" body cat, 3" inlet, 3.5" outlet, 3.5" catback straight through (emphasis on being super quiet without loosing the rb note) Apexi Pod Filter with 3" metal intake Z32 AFM, Nistune ECU (cable to swap between 98 and E85 tunes), 800cc Deatschwerk injectors ARC Returnflow Intercooler ($1500 alone and improved response by over 200rpm and keeps inlet temps super low) Hypergear ATR43-SS1 Turbo Jim Berry Clutch which drives like stock but grips extremely well. 244rwkw on 98, and 279rwkw on Caltex E-Flex E85! Full boost by 3200rpm, Super responsive! All tuning performed by Trent from Status tuning who I cant recommend enough. Power mods have only been on the engine for less than 15,000km with no issues. Has never been to the track but is ready to go. $18000 with RWC, contact Jeff on 0400648813, located in Altona North. Bought the car for $18.5k two years ago and have spent ~$12k on top of that, so my loss is your gain.
  13. Even still after a tune its a big jump. I mean all the guys on here that change to E85 they all get them tuned to suit and we dont see those sort of gains.
  14. 264 to 335rwkw just by changing to E85??? They must have increased boost as well to get that. Still very impressive.
  15. As it was mentioned earlier the racepace mufflers are really expensive as they are hand custom built by the team there to keep the flow characteristics of a large exhaust but have them sound super quiet. They only make them when asked to build a full exhaust they wont sell you a muffler etc. They said they only started doing it to look after their customers that wanted big power but very quiet for certain track restrictions and they couldnt find anything off the shelf that did the job.
  16. Yeah if your car can put the extra mid range torque to the ground then sure. And that is specifically to do with a turbocharger. In my previous setup it would spin the tyres when it hit boost in the mid range and then torque would fall off higher in the rev range so when you finally got traction it had lost a lot of torque. I am more talking from a traction point of view. As speed increases, the greater torque you can put to the ground without wheelspin. Therefore ideally for maximum acceleration given a set amount of traction you would have torque increase with rpm.
  17. Seriously though thats what I have always thought it would be good to have boost gradually climbing to stop the torque dropping off. Obvious problem is though on a really cold night etc because the wastegate is maxxed out the boost would climb higher and could get you into trouble. I suppose if you had the tune allow for this it could be ok.
  18. Haha ok but not having VCT would make it more of a rush because below 4500rpm you would have less power but the same top end as the ECU turns it off around then anyway.
  19. Ouchies it would definitely be worth getting rid of that stepdown to 3", keep it at least 3.5".
  20. Hahaha but thats not what I am saying. I am saying the G3 should give you much more of a rush due to the change in torque (steepness of the torque curve). The smaller TD05 should be quite a gradual build of boost whereas the G3 typically will be more nothing and then holy sh*t. You need to get your setup sorted so its like the latter
