theres no way a new exhaust wont make it louder or perform better given that its done properly my 2 recomendations would be morley quick fit or perth exhaust centre. perth exhaust centre have pre-packaged systems for the local cars with before and after dyno results

i agree, the forums have gone downhill rapidly in the last year. whoretown is a waste of time and resources, and the cause of many frustrating "the server is too busy" messages when you try and look up something useful. maybe if people developed a certain level of social skill we wouldnt need internet threads in order for you to 'make friends'.

1 tooth is a big step on the std RB20 cam gears if its 1 tooth out then youd notice alot more than a lumpy idle id be thinking along the same lines as ken - an air leak somewhere. theres alot of hoses that have to come off in order for the head to come off, just make sure youve got them all connected properly and there arent any small cracks in them. (alot of the hoses on the firewall side of the head needed replacing on mine as they were worn out from age and heat exposure)

i sold mine on the forums in the end but i got alot fo calls for the 32 from the autotrader and sold the 33 2 years ago in the sunday times i think the main idea is exposure, without goin crazy advertise it in as many ways as possible so it reaches all potential custoemrs

just make sure u bolt it down evenly and dont put too much tension on the cam itself so go over it about 4-5 times and slowly tighten it up, camshafts arent as strong as u would think

its weird for an internally gated turbo to hit full boost so late...

jeez that brings back memories if you havent already get the coolant out and let the cylinders dry, without taking it to an engine specialist i dont know if theres any way to tell whether or not the bores have been affected. just empty the coolant out and hope for the best i guess!
