  1. hey all im wrecking a laurel maroon in colour, maroon interior, no motor gearbox, is a rolling shell with complete interior has impact damage to drivers side rear door/sill front is in good condition for those of u that want to put it on ur cefiro vehicle has compliance, in 1990 probably the first laurel australia no doubt hehe, has no rego pm me for parts or any info will post pictures on request can have the whole car for $500ono offers welcome need it gone cheers, brad

  4. i bought the VL with the motor in it off my mate, the inlet manifold had the rb20det-r badge on it n the turbo on it was a fair size not the normal rb20 one, looked like a t4 i measured the cams to see what was in it n i got 8.2mm lift, n theres no markings on them to tell if there aftermarket it didnt have the tubular stainless manifold tho just a normal 20/25 cast item so i dunno it could be just from a gts-x inlet on the gtr is 8.5mm lift i think rb20 red top has 248 degree 7.8mm lift, silvertop is 240 degree 7.8mm lift
  5. roy dont know the duration but the lift is 8.2mm...measured mine last time i had the covers off...i would say the duration would be around 250 degree...
  6. just go to gt3076r (gt30r) town... .60 compressor .63 turbine boost (18psi) at 3800rpm need to get a power run n dyno sheet happening
  7. yea apparently the oil galleries are different, but no one actually states why the silvertop head wont work on the redtop block

  11. i got the lc-1 kit with the db-1 gauge, i should of got the lm-1 so it was portable/removable, but other than that it works well
  12. mate u might wanna throw some trumpets on each runner to increase air velocity/speed/distribution
  13. u can use the redtop crank, rods and pistons...dont use the rb20de pistons as they give a different (higher) compression ratio, not the best for turbo applications...the word is u cant use the redtop block with a silvertop head, oil galleries are slightly different...have seen it myself but thats what i have researched...
  14. just deal with the redtop being better! haha go get a better tune n fix the splutter misfire, check ur timing n go 3inch all the way on the exhaust
