  1. Yeah I had mentioned to Duncan that limiting messages is a little tricky but that this has happened again I'll get this done in the next few days.

And yes @soviet_merlin I'll put a warning banner on the top of the messages screen, nice idea!

Yeah the Drift R wheels look awesome. They are pitted though, wonder if I can fix that somehow.

I want to buy an r33 I’m looking at but I am on ps, and it is a gts-t, is there anyway I can take the turbo off and drive the car I don’t mind putting in the work to be able to make it go just wanted to see if it’s possible, and would it need to be tuned again

Despite the mechanical work, you'd need to have the car updated as non turbo with the relevant govt departments.

I tried to do similar with one of my motorbikes, the difference between L's approved and not L's approved was just the ECU but it was going to be a bastard to get it updated on the system if I bought the NON L's bike and the L's ECU so I could unrestrict it later.

Interesting how sports always have their hands out for grants. $1M was promised to Wakie by state government (and not yet paid last I saw).

Now $9.5M being given to short people who whip horses in Goulburn....I'm really not sure why my taxes should fund stables.

    Yeah this is infuriating.

  5. Haha, yeah parts will become much more expensive than the car in no time.

Decent list of mods and I haven't seen a set of ROH Drift R wheels in a long time! They look great too.

    Helluva project, I'm jealous.

  6. Sounds like it might be a *good* fact finding mission for a change! :D

RB26's have a restrictor in the boost line. Pop this out and it'll run 12psi all day. Maybe check this is still in place?

Try heating it with a hot air gun (gently) and pushing it back from the inside. You may be able to massage it until it is really good, or you may have to stop and then add some filler.

This. Heat and push. Use something blunt and wrap the end in a towel so you don't get any sharp high spots. Its pretty easy to get them back to a relatively good looking bar using heat. Just don't melt it.
