  1. Sorry Gav, moderators are blocking any PM's so I can't receive it.
  2. Sorry, I wasn't trying to step on any toes. Am I not even allowed to answer questions about the product? (not trying to be sarcastic, it is a serious question). I am happy to become a trader but the difficulty is that when I requested to become one I was flat out refused by a moderator because I operate as a sole trader (which is a legitamate business structure where my full name is regarded as my business name) and don't have an "XYZ Performance" type business name. I was told by the moderator that until I get such an "XYZ Performance" business name I cannot post anything for sale whether privately or as a business. I am not yet at the stage with my business(which incidently encompasses other areas) that I am prepared to register such a name as the ATO has no problem with me trading freely. If I have been given the wrong information then please let me know so I can move forward.
  3. G'day sky30, they are very simple to fit requiring just 4 connections. No-one has ever had a problem fitting them even those who admit they have no expertise in the area. They come with very specific instructions. There is no issue with 4WD failure as the 4WD system is designed to work up to 50/50 torque split. The TSC is just telling the vehicle to transfer drive to the front wheels sooner than normal. It only affects torque split when cornering(which is when you want it) so majority of the time it's not doing anytyhing the car wouldn't normally be doing. Justin
  4. No worries T04GTR, just let me know if you are interested or need any more details. Justin
  5. Hi Race & Rally Repairs, I am the seller of this TSC. I know that there are at least a few people who have bought the unit that are using it for track racing who have indicated that it is great to be able to control how 'taily" the GTR is. If you wound it right up then yes it would tend to understeer but that is under your control as you can set it all the way from standard (set to "0") to maximum allowable front torque (setting "10"). Racing in the wet is another story with one buyer saying it was "worth its weight in gold" (his words, not mine). If you are interested I can contact these buyers and see if they are happy for me to give you their contact details so you can ask them first hand. Justin
  6. Let me fist start by saying that I am posting here because it won't let me post in the trader section. Can someone please tell me how I am able to get information on becoming a trader. I have tried firstly to click the link that says "Trader information can be found by clicking here" which is a dead link and has been for months as far as I can tell. Secondly I have emailed [email protected] a number of times over the last couple of months and I am yet to get a reply. Can someone please advise where I go from here hopefully before this topic gets pulled. Thanks in advance
  7. As it states in the eBay text the 2WD/4WD switch should only be used on R32 GTR's. This is because later ones leave some preload on the clutch packs that can burn them out if run in 2WD. It is not being sold on eBay as suitable for Stageas at the moment. The main functionality of the unit I sell is as a Torque Split Controller and this works well on all models of GTR and I expect Stagea's as well. The question posed to me through eBay was "would this unit work on a Stagea?". My answer was that as it has a similar 4WD system to the GTR I am pretty sure that it would work well but you would have to do further research yourself to confirm that both systems are similar. Of course the 2WD/4WD switch should not be used for the reasons above. So the offer goes out to other Stagea owners also. I am happy to sell to a Stagea owner with the guarantee that if it does not work as described in the eBay advert I will happily refund the purchase price. I am 99% sure that it will be fine though.
  8. G'day, My name is Justin and I am the seller of the units on eBay. What you are finding regarding the 2WD/4WD switch is normal operation for any ATTESA interceptor such as this. The latest version of instructions that come with the unit indicate that the switch position should be changed when the ignition is off for this reason (but yes you can switch to 2WD while moving). Incidently, it has been mentioned(falsely) on this forum that the unit I sell is directly based on the Autospeed article. This is totally untrue as the unit on Autospeed is a terrible design and does not work properly. The unit I sell is professionally designed and manufactured. Of all the units sold everyone has been very happy with the unit and I have received only great feedback and testimonials. Any questions are welcomed at [email protected]
