i have a turbonetics raptor bov on my s1 gtst and it makes the flutter noise sounds great and as of yet have not had any problems with the turbo or engine. bov not plumbed back tho - just vents to atmosphere. i think this bov uses a different type of plunger to most conventional bov's, and gives it a cool unique sound

What Turbo Should I Put On My Rb25?
levir33 replied to levir33's topic in Forced Induction Performance
Also the car is making 195rwkw atm with the std turbo and i was trying to avoid changing any internals for now - thats a future plan...and rather costly -
i got an r33gtst s1 and have made a few mods so far, and at the moment i was looking for a new turbo but with the vast amount of turbos around im having a lot of trouble deciding which one is best for the job and need some help to pick the right one so far i have got a custom downpipe and cat. converter with a hks 3 inch exhaust custom intercooler piping and fmic with a greddy plenum 600hp fuel pump, turbonetics bov, k & n pod filter, boost t microtech ecu I want to make about 300rwkw but keep it as streetable as possible ie least lag, best response but i need some advice on which turbo and/or supporting mods would be most suited for this application any feedback would be greatly appreciated ive heard some good reports about the gt2871r and gt3582r, has anyone tried these turbos on an rb25, with any success? thanks in advance, for any info
