  1. Selling mine too..... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/403770-bayside-blue-prime-edition-25t-rs4v-original-car-few-mods/ 2000 S2 25T-RS4 V, Prime Edition with all the fruit. Follow post to car sales advert with lots of pics. $14,000 137,000 km
  2. Hi Guys Lots of you will know my car, I have decided to put it up for sale. It really isn't getting used and would be better in the hands of someone that really wants it. The car is in A1 condition, having been maintained to a high standard. It is original Bayside Blue, which is the rarest colour. I don't know of another Bayside Blue Prime edition that is 4wd in Australia (but I don't mind being corrected). This car was imported by me in 2007. It has done 137,000 km. It is a very rare (only one known in Aus) Prime edition in Bayside Blue 25T RS4V. This hasn't been messed with, but has had a much newer engine fitted after a mechanics blunder at the 100,000 service. Full details and documentation of this will be supplied to new owner. This cost over $11000! The replacement engine has now done approx 60,000 km and had a new standard Turbo and Nis-Tune computer. It is tuned very conservatively to run on 95 octane, but still makes 192kw at all 4 wheels, (dyno sheet available). I fitted an aftermarket cruise control at over $600, and this is the only thing that the Stagea didn't have as standard. It has a pioneer stereo fitted. It rides on Rays Sebring wheels. It has a full Dolphin style kit recently this was replaced with new front and rear bars from Blitz. The side skirts were also repaired and repainted. It has Ganador race style mirrors. It comes with 2 sets of mats, the spare set so that the car isn't left without a set when cleaning them. This car will pass any test. It turns heads everywhere and leaves most cars behind. It is incredibly safe. It has not been on the track with this engine, or dragged. But has with the old engine. About 15 laps at Wanneroo and 6 passes at Motoplex Perth (14.9). It has always been meticulously maintained despite cost. The car was also used in Targa West as a course car. The car is only for sale to fund a new acquisition. It's low km's show how little it has been used. It represents and ideal opportunity for further tuning, but doesn't need it for everyday use. It has a 3" Fujitsubo exhaust. If you are looking for a great all-round car, then you just found it! $14,000 firm Tell all of your friends! Link to Car sales advert with photos. http://www.carsales....a-2000-12916528 Here it is in Targa West in 2010 as a course car.... NOT racing.
  3. If you are still doing this and I am not too late, please put me down for a pair. Isn't there a difference in colour from s1 to s2? Thanks
  4. Hi Graham. I think that SAU were requested to remove the profile, or maybe it's a policy. It was still up when I posted in Western Stagea's the day before. I have been contacted by his wife, Amanda. The family will be selling Steve's car in the future after dealing with all the legal stuff. I will probably liase with her, and advertise it on here if she want's to. It's a '97 Autech in White pearl.
  5. SAD NEWS!! I found out yesterday that Steve Hobby has died. For those that knew him this is very sad news. He was a very likeable guy. He owned an Autech 260. His skyline name was Oteku260. A run being organised on Sunday 13th May will be to his memory. I have no other details of his passing as yet. He died on or close to 5th April 2012. Our thoughts are with his family. Anyone wanting to join... let us know by going to.... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/359728-western-stageas/page__st__360

  7. I lost my tailgate nissan badge on the way home.... you can see it was going in the photo where we turned left onto West Coast Highway. In the photo where we turned onto South Terrace it had gone! Probably happened at the right turn at the end of the traffic bridge.... that's what you get for hard acceleration I guess. Anyone got a spare?
  8. Hmm actually there are quite a few more than that around. There are 4 in WA, and I know of about 6 or so in the Eastern States. It is rumoured that every Ford Dealer had one car for display. Here are some from a recent show in the UK. This photo shows the shape better.
  9. Hi Guys REAR BAR I have just had my rear bar replaced under insurance, and they let me keep it. So it's up for sale. There isn't much wrong with it, but the original repairer couldn't seem to get the spacing on the door correct. I was never happy with that so after a 2nd attempt (and the original repairer out of business) the insurance decided to buy me a new one. The old one is complete. and I am sure with a bit of jiggling around will fit no problems. Although this photo isn't the best, it does show the bar after the repair. It doesn't come with any brackets, but mine is available to copy. $200 will secure it. I suggest Perth only as the freight to east will kill you! Original Dolphin is $900 + freight from Japan. FRONT BAR During the fitting of the rear bar I decided that the kit was overdue for some repairs, so I paid to have the skirts and front bar repaired and re-painted. Four days later I "hit" a rock in a driveway, whilst turning around. At first I thought it was only gravel rash..... later I realised it was far worse. I have made a claim under insurance and therefore the front bar will be up for sale too very soon. The repairs needed aren't that great, and would suit someone able to do their own repairs. But it is too much for the insurance to pay a repairer to do. So again I get a new one. Price on this one $150. Front from Japan is about $1200 + Freight. You will need to source a grill from somewhere. But for $350 for the front and back it is cheap. Inspections are welcome. PM me.
  10. Try an aluminium wheel cleaner that has hydrofluoric acid in it. A small amount only (less than 2%). High concentrations can be very harmful, even lethal. But you are very unlikely to find that in retail products. Wash it straight off after cleaning your windows, if you leave it on it will etch or damage the glass. For removing bore stains there is nothing better. High concentrations cannot be stored in glass because of the reaction with it.

  12. Here's mine, 27 years off the road!! Getting there, little by little. 1962 Consul Capri.
  13. Same problem with winRAR, it says that there are errors in the files BUT you need winzip latest version. (free download). So yeah....thanks heaps!
  14. We just completed a 2011 GTR wrap in 3M 1080 vinyl. It is thicker than normal and has some paint protection qualities. It was a long job and required removal of the front and rear bumper, spoiler and mirrors. It took a long 5 days. They definitely are not easy. If anyone wants a quote, contact us through http://appealingsigns.com.au We are in WA.
  15. I can't make it (unfortunately) I have to go to a renewal of vows (not mine!). Can't really say no, so I have to catch you next time.
  16. I will probably come along. Don't know if I can convince Iolanda though, depends where you all go.
  17. Depends what you want to do with the Stagea. 1. They are definitely NOT a race car. 2. You don't have to change the turbo to get 200 Awkw. 3. You will have to have an afermarket tunable ECU or piggy back and boost it to 10psi. 4. No big probs with them, except rust under the side mirrors. 5. Std brakes are OK unless you are going to race it. If so change fluid, Braided lines, and stopper as Chuckie says. 6. I did 3 fast laps on Wanneroo raceway before the std brakes start fading, but then they went quickly, mostly a fluid problem. 7. The diameter (rolling circumference) of the tyres must be the same front & rear. You can offer me $17000 on mine.......

  19. Hi Guys, I must admit it was pretty annoying sitting for 50 mins at a crawl pace just to get in there. And a piss-off with them checking my bag but not checking my ticket properly...(It could have been photo-copied, no problems!) And then they didn't check the paddock pass at all!! That was crazy because it de-values the whole "Paddock Pass" thing. The Red Bull race car, is a demo car. It is not the same F1 car that gets raced in the Championship. It is one of two cars like this that get rotated around, except this weekend they were both out. The other one was in Berlin with Sebastian Vettel also doing a demo in the streets, that one then goes to Bangkok for a demo next month. The one here is staying here for the Melbourne GP. They are de-tuned to 14000 rpm, and about 750hp. They have fans on the rads, and steel rear suspension for doing donuts as this is really hard on the rear. The race cars have to be checked every 500 miles by FIFA, so doing this type of stuff would mean new suspension! How do I know.... I was lucky enough to get into the Red Bull Racing tent. I asked one of the mechanics. He (Anthony) came to our tent (Rob Pilkingtons Funny Car) and had a good chat later. I am a sponsor of the Drag car and other motorsport. I really thought that overall it was a good day. Lacking in some organisation, but better than not having it at all. Lots of people said that the Drag car was the best part.... Rob was trying to make it as good as it could be, and really couldn't see very much after the first burn-out. Of course the track straight is much too short for this really. Here's a couple of photos..... I have a video but of course can't post it here.

    M35 Info

I don't know if this has already been posted, as I didn't want to read through 38 pages of what seems mostly personal stuff. But someone may find this link useful... it's a translation of the M35 (2001 - 2004) spec sheet. http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...EC%2Findex.html
  21. I just thought that I'd add this again, as it seems some might be missing it. Just click on the link to get the translated page specs for Series 2 C34's. It will clear things up like the post above about the 25 X Four, there was also a 25 XT four.
  22. Oh well NO TURNER-UPPERS! But anyway we had fun. Went to the lagoon, until the wind got too strong, and then drove down the park. The entry was FREE! so that was good. Lots of very cool cars. Some of them had a lot of love and engineering out into them. Good drive too, we managed to miss all the speed cameras and the 6 cops in 3 cars playing hidey on Marmion Avenue. It really was a perfect day with perfect weather. Here is just a few of the 340 cars that went in it this year!
  23. Repeat of above posting.......... This one is closer to home, is an easy drive and again should be a good day. Here's another good date, and I will probably go and have a look here and spend the day. Would be ideal for a BBQ/meet-up. The details - GoodFellas Yanchep Picnic, Sunday 14 November 2010. They are meeting at Kingsway Shopping Centre, cnr Hepburn Avenue and Wanneroo Road, Kingsway from 10am. Depart at 10.30am for a leisurely drive North to Yanchep National Park and the historic Yanchep Inn. Meals and snacks available at the Inn or bring your own to enjoy in the park. Free Bouncy Castle for the kids, great prize giveaways in the lucky prize draw. Open to all pre 1978 hot rods, customs and American muscle cars. Sorry, but no dogs allowed in the National Park. Last year the event drew 240 vehicles I am not sugesting that we try to cruise with the rods, but it would be good to have a look at them. Entry to the park for us is the standard national park fee of $11 payable at the park gate. Well worth coming up though, you can still buy tickets in the prize draw and they have some great stuff to give away including - tool boxes, engine stand, trolley jacks, chroming vouchers, Cruzin magazine subscriptions, garage art (signs and cool clocks), air compressor, car care products and all sorts of other stuff - you get the idea! I say that we organise a meeting point and cruise up to have a look. Suggest that we meet up at Hillarys car park, where we last had a BBQ in the rain one evening, on the foreshore. This is just south of the boat harbour and main car parks. Say 10 am. Cruise to Yanchep to take in the rods, and have some lunch. Lets see if we can get more than 3 cars. How about everyone else?
  24. Nice drive, Nice people lots of nice cars to look at! I think a good time was had by all. I didn't take many photos and only of 1 car! Had a good day got home in time to Mark Webber crash!! Oh well at least Vettel's engine blew up!
  25. Seeing as it seems that not many (if any) are going to show up at the meet point, I am going to make it 9:15am and leaving at 9:30am. I have a feeling ours will be the only car there! Jim, I'll meet you at the Caltex. Iolanda (my wife) and Angelina (7yo daughter) will be coming. I think that it will be a great day. Have to clean the car in the morning. If anyone else wants to meet up at Gateways, please make your intentions known, so that we can have an idea. Cheers!
