  1. Called up the repairers that were recommended, but it seems that my insurance company wants my own repairer to go to their assessment centre to do the quote. As its quite far from most of the repairers and my insurance company is not willing to pay for the towing fee, I was not able to get a quote from my own choice. I guess its all left with the repairers they recommended, which is MVR and PR Smash repairs. I'm with just car insurance btw. Thanks heaps for all that sent me the repairers details. cheers
  2. any comments on scientific motor body works at broadway...?
  3. yeah, he's got insurance. even if he doesn't my insurance company will make him personally liable as he is under influence. I spoke to my insurance earlier, they said it might be a write off, but i still need to send it for an assess by smash repairs shop. Anyone knows if there are any good smash repairs shops that are good in doing skylines or imported cars.
  4. My car is only 3 weeks old and it got hit by a car while i was driving... such an idiot, as he was driving under influence. My entire rear and both left and right rear panel are babdly damaged, need to find a good smash repair that is able to get the parts and bodykits fast and able to do a good job. Any recommendations ? cheers
  5. yeah i do go up at an angle rather frequently.. What do u all reckon of King springs, K-Mac or Pedders springs ? anywhere that does a good job in sydney..??
  6. Thanks for the recommendations... Should be putting on URAS at jet speed..... but abit worried about the fitting there.. anyone had any experience there before?
  7. I'm new to the scene, just got my 34 GTT and had changed to a new set of wheels 235/40 R18 front and 265/35 R18 rear. The gap between the guard and my wheels is too big, i want to lower the car to make it just sitting above the tyres. Anyone knows of a cheap and good way to do it. Heard that changing the springs is one option. IF so any brands to recommend ? Price ? cheers
  8. thanks for the info, i went to jetspeed and they have got the URAS kit. supply+paint+fit $1900. Will shop around still, but very likely to get the URAS. Any kits to recommend ?
  9. hi, i just got a new set of wheels and just wondering if my tyre profiles are right. i got a 235/40 R18 for the front and 265/35 R18 for the rear. i was just thinking as my rear tyres looks smaller than my front and will these different profiles affect the overall handling and ride as they are different in diameter.. My tyres are Nankang NS-II... although not fantastic but they are quite value for money as grip is pretty good, not sure for wet weather.
  10. anyone knows where can i get a good selection of bodykits in sydney for a R34 GTT.. i just got my car a week ago and thinking of adding a fron and rear bar and also side skirts. Anyone heard of the URAS bodykit..
  11. i just got a new set of wheels and tyres last week and need some advice. 235/40/R18 front 265/35/R18 rear does it matter if the overall diameter of the front and rear tyres are different, i'm still on stock standard suspension. i'm worried that the difference in diameter will affect the drive and the height of the car. cheers
