  5. Make: Mitsubishi Model: Lancer Evolution VIII MR Milage: 28,900 KMs Transmission: 6 speed manual Colour: Silver Location: Sydney, NSW Complied? Yes RWC supplied? Yes Currently registered? Yes Price: $42,900 ono Contact: Amir - 0412772234 or [email protected] Comments / Modifications: See Below Images: See Below FS: 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR, Premium Silver Sedan, Manual (6 speed), 28,900 Kms, Registration RBORN, $42,900 ono. Brief History: This vehicle was purchased last year from IMG in Sydney. It was graded as a Grade 5A vehicle (mint interior and exterior). Since that time, it served it's purpose as my daily driver for about six months, while also being used as a demonstrator vehicle for my business at shows and events. It has been serviced every 5,000 KMs (oil and oil filter change) and all records have been kept. All import documentation showing the cars grade upon import, and an inspection by Sydney Vehicle Check grading the vehicle as "excellent" will be given to the new owner. Also, service history, books, and manuals from Japan will also be included. Reason for Sale: I work a lot from home now, and don't drive much anymore, and also, will be needing the money as I am purchasing a new house in the next few months. I won't describe the standard features of this vehicle, as it has been extensively discussed on this forum. The extra modifications I have made to the car since purchase are as follows: List of Modifications: Alpine CDA-9855 Head-unit with KCA-420i iPod option Brant ZX500 Gold Alarm System (two independent immobilisers, keypad with pin-code) Sun Auto "Hot Earth" earthing kit Ralliart Aluminium Gear-knob BBS Forged rims (powder-coated in gloss black) New Continental Sport Contact II Tyres Note: Plates "RBORN" will not be included with vehicle. New plates will be installed prior to sale. The vehicle is available for inspection, but you will need to contact me to organise a mutually suitable time. I can be reached on my mobile on 0412772234 or on email at [email protected] I have attached some pictures of the car below. If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact me. Thanks! Amir

  8. Hi, I am interested in this vehicle. Is there any chance you can email me some more pictures, and also your contact dtetails? If you have time, I'd love to come up and see the vehicle this weekend as well. My email is [email protected] Thanks, Amir
  9. Beer Baron. I went for all three days, and I tried your mobile at least twice on each day. Got Jap VM every time I am in Japan until Wed night. Would be cool to meetup and hang out for a drink of something if you are keen. You can reach me on 080 1509 7105
  10. Thanks heaps Laurence. Are you going to Tokyo for the Autosalon?
  11. Okay, lets say bolt on parts that's easy to carry (or reasonably so) examples: gauges, racing harness, brakes, turbos, electronics (boost controllers, computers), oh and a good place for WHEELS! If you can give me 2-3 that you think would be good to visit and reasonably easy to get to via Tokyo Metro or a JR line, please share, I'd be very greatful!
  12. Blitz: Good advice, thanks So where do you suggest I go so that it's not so expensive, and also somewhere that has a good range? Beer Baron: I just booked my phone online as you recommended. Hopefully I will have a confirmation by tomorrow afternoon, and I'll let you guys know what my number is before I leave.
  13. BeerBaron and lukits01: I really want to go to some Autobac stores while I am in the country. Also, I want to visit places like HKS Kansai, J's Racing, and any other cool workshops. Can you guys be a pal and give me some directions on how to get there? I am pretty familiar with the Tokyo Metro and JR train system, as long as you tell me where to get on, where to change and where to get off. Info please guys!
  14. I bought my ticket for the Friday afternoon session, and also an open Saturday/Sunday ticket. All set now, all I have to do is organise a mobile phone like Beer Baron suggested once I get to Narita airport. Just doing a status check: WHO'S EXCITED? * I know I am *
  15. Guys, this will be my first TAS ever so I am extremely excited to say the least! I am going to be landing in Tokyo on Wednesday the 10th of January, and am staying in a hotel walking distance from Roppongi so if anyone up for some drinks or sightseeing let me know. Rezz, lukeits01 and Beer Baron: I'd be happy to meet outside the show after 6 pm as you suggested. Did you guys want to meet up before the show sometime as well? I am going to be on my own so would be good to hang out with some fellow aussies Also, need some help on a couple of things: 1) Tickets: I am trying to buy tickets online at the moment for Friday and Saturday but the website is down for the ticket store. Is it safe to just leave it for the day and just buy it at the show? 2) Mobile Rental: Any recommendations guys? I'd love to organise a phone before I go but not sure where to start. Any advice is appreciated
  16. Put me down as 100% definite guys. I am staying within walking distance of Roppongi and near Aoyama 1-chome station. Look forward to meeting and catching up with you guys
  17. You're all gonna laugh probably, but I got lazy and decided to stay in a great business hotel I stayed at last time near Roppongi. Thing is though, I am gonna be there for about a week (with the TAS weekend in the middle of my stay). And as you mentioned Beer Baron, it's a couple of mins walk to a train station. And I don't mind the trip to TAS, I think it's best to be staying in Tokyo so you can go out at night and do stuff. Now, who's keen to go out for some food and drinks in Roppongi one night with me?
  18. Can anyone make any suggestions for where would be the best place to stay if say you were to come to Tokyo a couple of days before TAS, and then leave a couple of days after? Plan is, I will be going to TAS on the weekend, but also want to be somewhere where I can also visit a few workshops and parts shops as well. Any help or suggestions you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  19. I bought my ticket a couple of months ago. It will also be my first business trip for a new business I just started. A mixture of excited and scared is how I'm feeling right now. But really looking forward to the trip, and also meeting some of you guys. I will actually be in Tokyo for the show from the 10th (visiting the show every day from the 12th to 14th) and then heading back on the 18th. Would love to meet up with some of you guys if you are up for it. RaceBorn (Amir)
