  1. An easy fix for you; i just ended up drilling a 1mm hole in the bottom of the lenses to let them drain and dry out as i had problems getting them to seal properly, you only see the holes if you're really looking for 'em.mines a drifter anyway so it doesnt matter too mutch!
  2. Check your engine electrical earths, maybe left off when doing the plugs...
  3. Totally agree, i bought a car in melb from a company that has regular 1st/2nd page ads in HPI & lots of wank about quality & backup ect & ended up paying too much for a car that didnt have half the stuff i payed for on it & was told u got a good deal, so stiff shit! If i flew over & looked at the car myself i never would of bought it... So many good cheap cars over there if you went for a few days u could find one no worries

    Helmets

Mine's a HJC cl14, only a cheapy to get started, but is snell, dot & aust. standard approved. Fairly light, nice & comfy & is suited to my big noggin. An american company, that's why they make 'em for big heads apparently! At around $250-300 i think good value for money & really happy with it so far.Plenty of plain colours & graphic styles to choose from...
  12. HJC helmets, around $250-300,dot & snell aproved, made for big heads!(like me) most good motorbike shops...
  13. Hey who cares, stock or bommed you'll have a ball! You can work out who else runs times like yours and grudge race them for a closer race, generally others in the staging lanes will help you shuffle around to do this(in my experience anyway!) Cheap night out, last time i managed to get nine runs in before they told me to go home! Dooo it dooo it!
  14. You're "cuzz" is some kind of cool fish & won't tell anyone what's playing on his ipod? All the best to you mate! Have fun driving you're GT40 i'm sure polyphony will let you race at grand valley speedway tonight...
  15. Hey slowboy do you even have a licence? Best you lay off the red bulls & go back to playing gran tourismo... I'm sure they don't mind critisism on this forum as long as it's constuctive.Big up & respect to anyone out there giving it a red hot go,doing their own thing & having fun instead of knocking others!! Never know, if you turn up some day Norbert might give you some dissapearance money!
  16. Just an idea, but to me if you had done damage after the battery incident it would of played up then not 8 weeks later... I've had very similar symptoms like the ones you describe on euro cars & 90% of the time its an earth problem-check the earth wire from block to chassis, maybe it has worked loose after the engine swap or check the battery leads for heat damage,as high resistance in the leads can cause trouble... Hope this helps!
  17. Have got a bit of mehanical work to do over the next week or so but will definately give the blocking back a go & post some pics when i have the time!
  18. Managed to find some arp bolts but went to pick them up & were nil stock!Found info on the forum about what rb stuff fits other rb's and due to a slightly thicker than standard a/m flywheel have gone with rb26 bolts(3mm longer)from nissan...
