  1. This is accurate. Where as other "experts" give you the "what the hell is that!" when they see your M35, Scott has been working on the for, erm, what is it now Scott? 7 years? 8 years?
  2. Series 2 all the way. Looks better inside and out and is more comfortable (seats are quite an improvement). I owned the first Series 1 NM35 (AWD) and put over 160,000kms on it. Turbo failed and a wheel bearing, but that was pretty much all I can remember going wrong with it. Very good car and is still doing the rounds. I managed around 9.1km/L on average once I changed the dump & exhaust (although this did increase to 9.6km/L once I had the Fcon in). This was a lot of highway of course, but also daily hills & fun, so not too bad really. I have ownned a Series 2 PNM35 (AWD) for the past three years and have put around 80,000kms on it. I am currently averaging 8.9km/L (intake, plenum, HFC, V36 exhaust) with the majority being highway travel. The plus side is that the 3.5L Series 2 can be remapped relatively easily and you can always put a series 1 rear diff in if you want slightly better economy on highways. If you are not going to modify it at all, go with the Series 2. If you want the best performance return under $10k, Series 1 is your car. I can't help but think that the RWD PM35 would get quite snappy in the wet though (for better or worse).
  3. Why not try Nissan? Have you contacted them yet? From my experience, Nissan take a maximum of 10 business days to receive anything from Japan and considering that this is the 10th business day from your first post, I would imagine that you could have been dropping your V36 in to Nissan this morning to have the window fitted.
  4. Welcome back Steve.... again
  5. Take it to Ferntree Gully Nissan. They have no issues at all working on imports (or getting parts in if need be). Just trying to save you a lot of stuffing around.
  6. Ferntree Gully Nissan will do it. They did pv35gt8's BCM if I recall correctly. Bit confused as to why you would take it to a locksmith though...
  7. Is the series 2 fascia new or second hand? If the latter, are there any marks/scratches/blemishes etc and does it also come with all bracketing?
  8. Drive one of each, then decide. I have owned both for a number of years. Series 2 all the way.
  9. Part number 56110-7W026 is for the front left shock according to FAST. From August 2004 on VQ25DD and VQ35DE RX Four models. Not used on any other Nissan.
  10. Try Ferntree Gully. They are happy to service imports and would be worth the drive for you. They may also have a bit more info on recalls.
  11. I have just spoken to Kristian @ Iron Chef Imports about this (always a helpful lad that one). November 2014 was when the recall was issued, so any mention of it pertaining to Stageas would be mentioned after that date. Feel free to take a look although neither he nor I found any mention of Stagea recalls after Nov 2014. http://www.mlit.go.jp/en/jidosha/vehicle_recall_15.html
  12. If it helps, this was from my old NM35 stagea alignment and camber.pdf
  13. eBay Motors US is your best bet, just make sure you go for the OEM one as the Metra is a cheap POS. OR Just about any Infiniti dealership in the US - you are after a 2004-2006 G35 double din fascia.
  14. Seems I need to work on my linking ability
  15. Not eBay, but this needs to be seen http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g152743931'>http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g152743931
  16. Spotted a BATMAT's black NM35 in Officer/Beaconsfield last night on the way to Mother's Day dinner. Why is it whenever I spot another M35, I am in the 380?
  17. Just for reference: PM35 = RWD PNM35 = AWD
  18. Here you go
  19. Nah, the T2's are quite nice and I won't be going back to OEM, that's for sure. Pads are quiet, bitey and are seemingly dust-free (so far).
  20. Front rotors - DBA2314S Rear rotors - DBA2315S Front pads - D1060-1EA01 Rear pads - D4060-1EA01 Rotors purchased through GSL/Brakes Direct and pads from the US (conversion inc shipping was cheaper than the shelf price in Japan oddly) Dunno why the interest in pics, but here you go Josh. A pic of a dirty wheel in a poorly lit garage
  21. Finally got around to rotors and pads. From: OEM 370z To: DBA T2 rotors and 370z Nismo pads Very, very happy. See, now that's just lovely.
  22. Any M35's that have been complied by Northshore Prestige (NSW).
  23. Spotted a silver Series 1 M35 ARX with a Nismo exhaust pulling out of Frankston Bunnings on Tuesday afternoon.
  24. Umm, Eurou Jump on Import Monster, Select BROWSE from the top of the screen then "check out' the Yahoo Auctions. Using the menu on the right select Automotive > Car Parts > Body Parts and Kits Put "M35" in the search field Enjoy
