  1. Sure, bring it down
  2. Now you need another two driving wheels
  3. Remind me, is that beautiful shiny airbox you refer to a stock R32 item?
  4. RE5R05A
  5. You would get a better response if you posted in the Stagea section as this has been covered many times. 100k service is a normal major service (no timing belts, VQ's are chain driven). Transmission oil is Matic J (or compatible) ONLY. DO NOT put Dextron 3/Matic D etc in there as it will very quickly destroy the box. Matic D is used in the Attessa pump (driver side behind the rear wheel under the car) and power steering. Easiest thing to do would be to use the Nulon 100% Transmission fluid as it is Matic J and D compatible and is a far superior fluid to both.
  6. Haha, they actually quoted less than that without having a good look. Then bumped up their labour charge prior to completion.
  7. Faaark. Mine cost just under $2k installed back when it was done... I didn't get a say regarding the internals (not that I would have known anything about it back then
  8. My God that sounds shit In your pic, is there a space around it? I can't really tell on this laptop with that pic http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/gallery/image/83088-kakimoto-full-mega-n1-rev-muffler-115mm-tip/
  9. Bah! I forgot you had the Nismo one like I did. I was referring to the Legalis tips. I thought that the Nismo muffler's exit hole was closer to 2.5" at first glance, but didn't measure it either. Pretty sure that the Legalis' was larger (3") and I can't imagine they would have a smaller point to the tips than the inlet of the muffler...
  10. Pretty sure it would be 3". Remember that each tip is 94mm, so considerably larger than the exit point of the muffler http://www.kakimotoracing.co.jp/image_n31359.html http://www.nengun.com/kakimoto-racing/inner-silencer Note the external daimeter.... just sayin'
  11. the 60.5mm is the pipe to the resonator. the main pipe is 76.3mm all the way through to the muffler
  12. Sounds like you need a second PC and play co-op
  13. I think you'll find that it is a silencer that should be removable.
  14. They are still selling V-Power 100? Where?? I haven't seen a Shell/Coles servo anywhere in Vic that had the 100 fuel for years.
  15. Nope. After waiting almost 4 years for them to think about starting, no chance they get a deposit from me. Also, I'd like to see the quality of the manual before handing over any cash.
  16. Equipment options, quality of interior trim/seats, dash etc, body kit, muffler.... 5 speed auto with a +/- gate that actually works the way they should, unlike Nissan's delay-o-matic I'd agree with those responses except the reversing camera... sensors are enough (but if you need one, they are pretty cheap on eBay).
  17. Nothing, both are abbreviated names for the M35 exhaust: kakimoto "Full Hypermega N1 +rev" (or any arrangement of those words depending on the translation/seller) Dunno mate, at 94dB the N1 ain't quiet
  18. What about the rear end?
  19. They are trying to push people to Foxtel to watch F1 in HD.
  20. Lovin' the info Alex and glad to hear that the tune is safer and feels better Re the Yanks, could their numbers it have anything to do with a combo of happy dynos and the seemingly widespread expectation of a full rebuild after 20-30,000 (thus pushing the engine to the limit with the timing)?
  21. Silver M35 on Monash Fwy near Narre Warren on Saturday. Looked like an Impul 535W kit. Did like. A lot.
  22. Kakimoto R sounds very nice and is cheaper than the Legalis.
  23. Why do you want a car that costs more to run than it is worth? Horses for courses.
  24. Yep, my wife has one. A 2005 GT. It has everything except a reversing camera (has sensors). Enough power although it is strangled a little by the intake scoop and the rear muffler (easy replacements). Car is a very nice cruiser and has pretty good economy for a big 3.8L sedan. They are quite large though (bigger than a VE). Don't get anything less than an VRX, there is a big difference between the bottom two (ES, SX) and the top two (VRX, GT) spec cars. Forget about tuning though, the ECU is so far unchippable/flashable and only one piggyback "works". Nice car, just need to chuck a transmission cooler on it
