  1. X6000 is a replacement but is definitely not as good. Depends how often you want to get under your Stag I guess and how much you want to spend. I could go 15,000km intervals on Sougi S6000 and Motul 300v without issue (oil tester stated they were still fine although tested at different stages of modification), as I'm sure you could if you used NEO. I also should note that I usually used either Nismo or Power Enterprise oil filters. Will be giving Roadmaster 500 a go as it sounds interesting... and is a shitload cheaper than the other oils I mentioned.
  2. Race control to be hijacked by extremists protesters and everyone except Kathikeyan and De la Rosa to be black flagged?
  3. Search "G27 wheel" http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Logitech-G27-Racing-Wheel-Brand-New-Sealed-/261006093809?pt=AU_Input_Peripherals&hash=item3cc52cedf1#ht_854wt_1139 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Logitech-G27-Racing-Wheel-Brand-New-Sealed-BNIB-/170824062016?pt=AU_Input_Peripherals&hash=item27c5e85440#ht_3485wt_1270 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Logitech-G27-Racing-Wheel-PC-PS3-/130682008538?pt=AU_Video_Game_Accessories&hash=item1e6d4133da#ht_500wt_1287 Can't find any Buy It Now auctions for under $200 today
  4. Yeah, among other things demineralized water will absorb minerals from your body and then wash them out when you whizz. Not ideal lol. Nulon coolant with it's magical green ingredient should fill all your dietary requirements
  5. Don't worry Alex, he'll have access to my Cipher cable in a week or two... but methinks he wants to have the display from the iS on his pop up screen. http://www.hks-power.co.jp/en/products/electronics/computer/f-con/is/index.html All connectors were supplied about a year ago so now it's just a case of installing all the HKS electronic gear and tuning. Should be fun
  6. 33-40% coolant and the rest demineralised water Leon. Max would be 50/50 mix.
  7. Most are from the cats back which incorporates the Y-pipe section. This may be a silly question, but you are not counting the large resonator under the car as a "cat" are you? The cats come off the extractors/exhaust manifolds/headers/whatever you wanna call them and end right under the foot wells... which means that a "cat-back" on a V35 is basically everything that is under the floor of the car.
  8. "Old" tech I guess.
  9. I remember reading about Pippin in EGM. I wish Apple all the success of their previous console endeavour.
  10. VH Commodore. Light blue with blue vinyl seats that would strip your skin off in the summer. No air-con of course and the "mighty" *cough* 3.3 I6. Was not treated well. Then a blue R31 sedan (series 3). Was more comfortable and only slightly more reliable than the VH even though it was looked after a lot better. Then the M35, again blue. Whilst I did actually like the colour I do not like blue as a car colour in general although I can understand if you thought otherwise! Thank fk that the next Stag is not blue!
  11. There are new ones on ebay for under $200 shipped just in case anyone is interested
  12. VQ25det's are around 650 when warm although mine sat quite happily at 550 in summer. Dunno about the 3.5's as I am still waiting for mine but I can't imagine they'd be much different to the V35 sedan idle (~650 as Alex said)
  13. Looks great! Just need a slimline number plate
  14. Agree with what everyone else has written except Ryan Craig is the only Stagea owner that should be missing their R31. Seriously, what could you possibly miss?? Haha, at least the ARX was listed when you got your insurance! Nothing like having to convince the finance company of the value of the car because there was no reference on Redbook lol. Had to go by the difference between C34 S1 and S2
  15. 1. Depends if you work on it or pay someone to service it, and how you treat it. 2. No, think of a Series 2 V35 Skyline with a wagon body. 3. Bolt on? Not if AWD. You will need to modify a single turbo kit's piping. TT kits are not possible due to front driveshaft. RWD? Yes, same as V35/G35. 4. Like what? Unusually high water damage? 5. Feel free to use the search button for info regarding this and also for tyre/wheel calculators, You will need the rim width and offset.
  16. Just get some "Power Steering" hose from Supercheap. It should be on a reel and purchased by the metre.
  17. Coincidence! My router got fried by lightning strike last Friday night and then was pronounced dead on Monday. On the plus side, Harvey Norman have 30% Cisco stuff at the moment so I grabbed an X3000 which is performing very nicely
  18. ^ I miss the Koob
  19. Uprev will log and do the CEL's but not tune for you Ryan... like you really need it
  20. Nope, confused with "Run it Hard"
  21. A year already? I liked having a read of your website and your experiences/opinion What are you getting into next?
  22. If it is a Consult rip off and only does what a Consult can do, it can't flash the ECU. If they haev created an add-on as such, then so be it. Perhaps it might be worth a few VQ25det owners all putting in to get one to trial?
  23. 180 is too heavy for a Scott project. Datto 1600 + VQ25det would be more his speed I reckon
