  2. Hey guys - I am running the r34 Rb26 - ARC bigger intercooler blitz intake cast thingos and filters sard 700cc injectors + regulator Pwr FC d-jetro Bigger fuel pump Turbos - we figure they are N1s of some description!!! Definantly steel wheel and roller bearing with bigger exhaust housing. Std dump pipes std manifolds Boost 98 Car picked up heaps of grunt across the rev range - 30ish kw at the top end but an average of 60ish kw through the mid!!! Compared to a std 32gtr: exhaust/filters/1 bar made peak 5400N tractive effort - mine made peak approx 7000N!!! And damn it goes heaps better too..... Friday - have to do that work thing damn it 9krpm.......but soon as I get some track wheels I'll be there! Isn't it supposed to be 35 degrees???
  3. Nah...........just messing with you! Martin tuned it and I'm really happy with it
  4. You guys were right. Got my D-jetro in and 700cc injectors today and got Martin to tune it - at first it made 291kws and then he went to lunch so I got Peter to retune it while he was out! LOL made another 20kws at the wheels after a couple of minutes in Peters hands. Very stoked with 311kw at the wheels.........
  5. Very enjoyable sedate drive through the hills today - loved it! Got heaps of wicked photos as well I'll post when I get a sec to shrink em and de numberplate them (I was the one taking photos on the side of the road as you left the school. Blue32
  6. Compulsory posting of girls pics for our approval..........?!!!! :PBJ:
  7. SOLD
  8. SOLD
  9. migh be able to make it - work is ballastic atm! Still gotta install the d-jetro and injectors + tune and then I need some track wheels.......anyone interested in some r32 gtst rims and 6 tyres to suit plus a coupla 17 inch tyres only? I'm after some 17x9 GTR offset rims and tyres for the track. Must have good clearance on the inner rim to clear the 13 inch AP brakes.......
  10. Hopefully the newer engine might last a bit longer before I have to build a stronger one with forgies etc. Can't wait to get it on to the track - best fun to have in your car legally! We should have a SAUSA track day at Mallala.............
  11. Thanks for the comments guys:) Maxx: Got the sards on the way - what ya asking for the rail?
  12. Yeah - came to Aust with the handy 4wd/2wd switch already fitted. From experience it shall now be known as the uneven tyre wear switch......(scratches head - wonders last time he saw a GTR drifting)
  13. Hey guys- thought I'd post a coupla pics of the new beast - finally a GTR resides in my garage!!! The car made 272rwkws (at 13psi) at Willall racing prior to purchase running rich at around 10.3:1 AFR.......now post compliance last weekend it made 170rwkws with an AFR that simply went off the scale rich (>9:1). Hmmm.....me smells a rat somewhere!!!! Anyways Peter Hall assures me it is tune based (we chucked a standard 32GTR computer in it and it made 226rwkws!) and the computer has a jap remap chip in it. Oh well - PWR FC D-Jetro and some 700cc injectors on their way at the moment. Should hopefully make low-mid 300's at the wheels post Martin Donnon super tune in the near future. Very happy with the purchase - especially since it sports a huge amount of extras including the R34 GTR engine and bigger twin turbos...... Those of you trying to make a GTST into a GTR (as I did for 4 years) don't stuff around - go the GTR. Traction is sweet!!!!!!
  14. oh, the hicas probs are definantly related to the broken cable - no speed sense pulse to the computer causes it to spack out. I experimented with a switchable speed sense pulse to the computer on my r32 - to disable the 180km limiter. Result: limiter is disabled but the pwr steer/hicas spacks out and gets real heavy.
  15. all, the speedo cable inner is supposed to be a one piece item that you cannot remove - I know - I built speedo cables for 2 years. The pic in the original topic starter is the speedo drive end with a short piece of speedo cable that has snapped off. This usually happens on high km cables OR cables which have sharp bends in them. When you replace a cable - ensure you have the largest radius bends in the cable routing - ie no sharp angles. Sharp angles prematurely wear the inner until it gets 'whip' in it (the speedo needle will bounce at low speed) - increasing in bounce up to maybe 40-50kms just before it expires and breaks. Find a gauge repairer in your area that builds speedo cables and they can make an inner cable for you if you take the original inner an outer cable in to them - or you could drop the car off and pay a bit extra for the labour of remove and refit the cable. Hope this helps Blue32
  16. Found some thanks for the response guys
  17. Congrats on the new addition to the family!!! I recently bought a 'new baby' as well and with the 33 GTR wheels, 255/45R17s and track spec suspension it tramlines a fair bit. Never had the back try to steer the car though - apart from when I wanted it too...........
  18. Congrats on the new addition to the family!!!
  19. Yep Matts gonna go if the cruise can accomodate a non-nissan steed! Waiting the judges decision.....
  20. I've got a mate who's keen to come as well if other cars are welcome. He will be in a crappy little (turbo) mirage.........
  21. I thinks the new toy 'GTR' is keen for a leg stretch down south. Coming from the northern suburbs also - let me know where to go and I'll do my best to be there too.
  22. Bump for price drop - $6500 ONO Its gotta go! I owe the GTR some modifications!!!!!
