  1. The BMW DBW actuators that are known to fail are from the later E9x M3's. They use a plastic gear inside which do sometimes strip off the teeth causing them to fail.
  2. @Shoota_77 Thanks mate, good idea. I'll give that a go.
  3. For those building their own exhaust systems at home, what is the best way you've found to make accurate cuts on larger diameter stainless? I've started building a 4" system, using a cold saw (dry type) and it's been a pain in the ass.
  4. I'm very interested about this too, I'll be building a 4" system myself soon.
  5. Haha a "carrot" turbo! I'm laughing so much much I'm crying!
  6. ABS is provided by a seperate control module, it should still work.
  7. I can't stand that noise either, it ruins the sound of the car!
  8. Damn, I hope the Coppermix Twinplate Competition that I just installed in my 8374 equiped R34 will hold then! It's just a 86.5mm/standard stoke Neo though, and RWD, so here's hoping...
  9. Is there any difference in steering feel now that you are using the electric pump?
  10. I use a wet crushed up bar of soap to get spigot bushes out, works well!
  11. If you are very mechanically minded then it should be really easy to work it all out while you are installing it.
  12. I would be really interested if anyone ever attempted to adapt a modern servo electric system to a Skyline, e.g. one of these Bosch units which are found in many modern cars: http://www.bosch-automotive-steering.com/en/products/car-steering-systems/electric-power-steering-servolectric.html I like the simplicity of these systems. I would imagine the control/electronics side of things might be the challenge given how different the steering feels on many similar models these days (e.g. different Porsche 911 variants), simply due to software changes.
  13. SOHC Power Will an exhaust manifold from an RB25 fit on an RB30 SOHC head by any chance?
