  1. Would probably only consider Nismo of those 3 options (& they're just a stock arm with different bushes), SPL don't make FUCA's for the R32/Z32 platform either. Like GTSBoy I run the GKTech arms too on my Z32 (z32 & r32 suspension is all inter-changeable), would also really recommend the pivoting arms sold by RGS Performance. All my other suspension arms are SPL, really nice stuff & would definitely recommend them.
  2. ce28's were sold in 19" (possibly not the SL variant though), they're just not currently. Best bet might be to hunt for a used set like these clicky
  3. Worth talking to IronChef too
  4. From my understanding the clip type where only sold in the States as they were dealer option on z33's. My previous set of LMGT4's were bronze & I found the same thing with the centre caps, the 2 that came on my wheels when purchased were a different finish but the new set of 4 I got matched correctly. Same issue with my silver 19's, caps available in the standard silver anodised finish that matches the spokes and in the 'diamond finish' to match the machined section in the centre of the wheel.
  5. It's been a long time since I chased some up for mine (I was after the flats though) but I thought they were interchangeable with te37 from memory. I'd just be keeping an eye on yahoo auctions for them, have you asked other importers as well in case they can still source? Import Monster, Jesse Streeter, etc. Not sure if it will help but I've got the part numbers for them. Standard type with Rays logo (depth 25mm): 40315-RN850-BR (BR =Bronze, swap 'BR' for 'S' or 'BK' to get silver or black)
  6. Like above, probably not worth getting fixed arms. I have the GKTech's (Z32 uses same suspension components), also worth looking at the RGS Pivoting arms (search UAS pivoting arms on here). Concept Z sell them stateside but bit more that the GKTech's
  7. Both look nice! Black one looks to have Z tune bumper & taller wing stands too, coilovers look like quantum. Blue's come via Global Auto though so can't go wrong there either as their stock seems top shelf. Great problem to have!
  8. I've got a load of SPL adjustable arms on my Z32, all of which are interchangeable with R32. Might be worth a look if open to rose jointed arms. Very good reputation, excellent quality & a bonus possibly for you is American made. Looking at the ISR website I can only see Front upper camber arms, which did you need? The front's listed are the generic midori style jobs out of china.
  9. I'm very happy with the RACV "veteran, vintage & classic" policy, a quarter the price shannons where for me & that's still on full reg.
  10. Yeah those are Volks with a nismo sticker, as you said centre caps have been removed (they just pop out). Both are made by Rays Engineering but they're definitely not nismo's.
  11. AMS from canada were pretty big with z32 300zx parts a few years back now, every single part they sell is a knock off out of china. Some shocking quality parts. That said these were free essentially so no harm in trying them out.
  12. Yeah great perseverance, good work! Definitely prefer where your heading with this version, last one was a bit to blocky. Missed your answer earlier but in the industry we use a different type of clay, it's basically the opposite of what your using. We warm it up to 60 degrees to get it soft to put onto the car / model but it hardens up as it cools making it much easier to shape & get a nice surface with. It's called "Staedtler Marsclay". Good luck!
  13. Nice work so far, just don't rush to get it in fiberglass as the more time you spend perfecting the clay the better your frp part will be. This is actually my job (clay modeller at Ford Design) & a few years back I did a wing for my Z32 in clay, check out my build thread for plenty of photos of my process & tools, how I balanced the sides, etc. clicky As for your design, I'd be bringing that hard edge down a bit so it cuts through the fuel filler cap, looks a bit square / heavy in your second photo looking backwards across the guard. Great work so far though! Which brand of clay are you working with? cheers, Tim
  14. Have looked in this a bit myself & have seen Peter at Planet Soarer recommended a few times. Quality looks good & quite quick turn around. http://planetsoarer.com/leather/index.htm
  15. only if you don't have the extensions / add-ons I mentioned, if you add them to your browser you'll see every photobucket hosted image (including my sig) on every site
  16. Random input here but you can get an extension for Chrome (& I think firefox now) that gets around the photobucket block & displays all images, I can see all your photos right now.
  17. Racv offer classic / veteran / vintage cover in Victoria, literally same deal as the nrma one. I've got my z32 on it, almost a quarter the price of my previous shannons policy.
  18. my god I love this, awesome work & what a great trip! Bit of a change W.A to tassie, probably don't see much snow back west!
  19. Have a look at McGard Splinedrive wheel nuts, I bought mine off Amazon (back when dollar was better), were a much better value option. Go the "installation kit". Work & BBS (& others) actually resell McGard nuts (Work Royal nuts for example). Fit with heaps of clearance to my Lmgt4's
  20. z32 & bnr32 coilovers are interchangeable, I'm running gtr ones in my z32 now, & don't believe there's any difference in shock length. Probably more related to the individual brand of coilover, do the kts have base adjustment or just spring perch? My bnr32 hks's only have spring perch but I'm still just under 2 finger gap.
  21. There are adapters available now to run the brembo 17z or 18z calipers with z34 355mm rotors for Z / S / R (non gtr only) chassis cars. Also kits for gtr's (& Z/S chassis) to run AMG 8 pots with the 355mm discs Great work designing your own to work with gtr's though
