  1. its almost sad how quickly u can turn a ford/commodore driver these days over to nissan.
  2. if you going to go ahead with it, prehaps buying a bare rb25 block would be a good starting point (1 that needs a rebuild). this way its a lot lighter then the whole engine, and will make it easier to acess where the mounts will have to bolt up and will be able to line up the gearbox etc as well. Prob think its a waste of money buying that then the whole engine, but i would think this would help solve alot of problems. Just a thought since ur pretty certain of going ahead with it.
  3. when adding the water temp, dont you have to add the sensor between the thermostat and the inlet of the radiator, and not just tap it into the OEM sensor on the thermostat housing, cause it will stop sending a signal to the dash???
  4. You would think so, considering the 320km/h is in the place that 180km/h is.
  5. Any one know what sort of calipers the 350 GT-8 has on it, weather it be 2pot, 4's or what eva. Also is there a brake upgrade for the car>>
  6. What are the coolers rated to, sorry to go a bit of topic??
  7. It all depends on what you want out of ur engine doesnt it. FMIC Pod (CAI + Heatshield as well) EBC PFC or aftermarker managment perhaps Upgraded Clutch for power increase Fuel Pump Injectors Turbo (perhaps 2540 or 3037) Headgasket Forged Pistons if u wanted. ** tune for the above parts ** $$ What about suspension and brakes though. Perhaps new rotors / pads Coilovers or replace worn out componets at least. Prob more you can do.. but not to much money left after that i would imagine.
  8. Is the driveshaft of the 33GTS and the R, that much different in strength.... as goes for the box as well.
  9. ah headgasket would be a major one, also new ARP headbolts, mainbolts if ur gonna do that much work, then getting the crank shotpeened and a good look over wouldnt go astray either. Its extra money, but if ur gonna go the whole hog, then wouldnt getting some sort of porting done to the exhaust and inlet be an idea as well. You can get Pistons and rings in a Kit, ACL do this (fogies) the conrods come by them selves, usually with ARP2000 bolts. You can get Cams and gears in a package buy, just have to look around but make sure u get the correct cams to suit ur needs.
  10. that plug is suppost to be the ambient air temp sensor isnt it??
  11. and this 1...wtf is goin on
  12. delete this 1, comp stuffed up
  13. to be exact, its called a 'DEICER' it heats up the front window so it doesnt freeze when it has been snowing, and allows the wipers to remove the ice from the front windscreen easier. it also has a 15min timer, which automatically turns off after this time.
  14. just a bit of topic, when the GT-T's are complianced, the Xenon globes are taken out and normal ones put in??? and because they are xenon, does that mean they are HID?? sorry for stealing topic..
