  3. Spotted Leeman this morning at about 10:30 turning on to Craigmore Rd in his sparkling clean 34, looks nice Later today I was on my way off of the Hwy and spotted the Stagea Cruise at the lights about to head up the Hwy
  4. Yep people here just don't seem to have any respect for other peoples property at all. My wife's '06 Swift gets hammered. It's had about 6 car park dings from people opening their door into it. And a nice deep fresh one from this weekend just gone. Also got some on the Skyline but not to bad thankfully. It makes me fiercely angry FFS watch what ya doing!!! Don't just throw your bloody door open!!! But I have a theory.... Car parks are getting smaller. And people are getting bigger.......... At least you'll know I wound get defected LOL.
  5. This worked. The terminals were broken off. Well are now... I ended up taking out the four screws for the plug and pulling that out, witch I think broke off the last connected terminal. There was little resistance to take it off. This is how NOT to do it I think LOL Not sure how you get in there to solder them back on?? Do ya cut or pry the side plate off? I ended up bending the terminals over a little so when i reinstalled the plug panel bit, they pressed firmly against the pins. Bit dodgy but has got me outta trouble and she running nice. Gave the sensor a clean too. Everything seems back to normal and smooth running. I'm keen to solder them back on though. So a quick 'how to' To get the side panel off the AFM would be cool. Thank guys.
  6. Sorry to see that happen to you guys and the Stagea. Hope you get hold of some video footage and get it all fixed up ok. I HATE Irresponsible F**Kers.
  7. Yeah I'm leaning towards AFM. Because it's running rich on and off. I'm starting to think. If the AFM is starting to sense in-correctly it may have an affect on the Taco too causing it to do it's flickering thing. Big sniff... cough, cough, cough... Fuel Have given the AFM a bit of a clean, has been running fine today. I wont know if that'll do it 'till it has a hissy again. Been ringing around for prices today. AFM with (Pink) Sticker I've been quoted between $150 - $295. Bit of variation out there.
  8. I'll get some contact cleaner today and give it a squirt, see how it goes. But whats up with the Taco?
  9. Stock boost controller. So It'd be something like 6-8psi I think.
  10. Stock ECU and Boost Controller. Just the normal mods Pod Filter, Exhaust, Intercooler and BOV.
  11. My Skyline's sick, just not running well At idle there's black smoke coming out of the exhaust (unburnt fuel) and if I boot it, still black smoke. So running rich I'd say... Now some sometimes when I pull up and she drops down to idle, it'll die off and come back up repeatedly. A bit like it would if an inter cooler pipe has come off (but there all OK). This is not all of the time. All of the above is temperamental. One minute all seems well, normal. And the next minute not so good. So, I'm thinking that I may be up for a new Airflow meter or O2 Sensor. Something to note: It has been like this not long after a Service and Tune at 'Un-named firm' about 1 month ago. Something else to note: I have installed a Air/Fuel mixture gauge, this involve wiring to the O2 Sensor. I installed this before my previous service and tune where there was no problems. So I don't think this is the problem unless maybe, there's a voltage issue of some sort. Long term load/drag thingy... I dunno... And here's what is really freaking me out. My Taco has freaky moments just as temperamental as the above and started the same time. It'll be fine doing its job, next minute it'll be flickering all over the place. Then go back to normal It's different from day to day. What has happened? Anyone got any idea what may be going on inside my Skyline? Or know of some things that could cause these problems? I've got it booked in to be looked at next week. Have to get it sorted so I can stop worrying and enjoy her again. Thanks ppl
  12. Got a beep and a wave from Leeman this morning, woke me up a bit.
  13. That would have been me. Mmm.... JCar
  14. Spotted a fellow SAU member at the BP, cnr of Main North and Craigmore Rd at about 5:20pm Your line's look'n good buddy Sorry I didn't stop for a chat. Just wanted to free up the pump. Then just up the road I thought, I could have pulled up into on of the parking bays
  15. Yeah, I got your enthusiastic wave. I couldn't believe you wound your window down. It was Freezing LOL. I just waved through my window And yep that would have been my house you drove past. I can't believe that your ceiling has let got too . Lucky it hasn't fallen as suddenly as mine did. But it's all sorted now.
  16. There are some strange things coming over in our lines. LOL Might have been a custom audio install gone wrong Customs were on the ball that day Yeah I need to learn some other languages. Would be good to know what your looking at. Must have been someones defense stick Kool, but what area?
  17. Yep, was me. I had just got it running again. It died at the end of the street I work on this morning. I accelerated up the road and felt a rough jolt, bit of a pop and immediately after it wasn't running very nice at all. I nursed it to work and it was just dying off with black smoke comming out of the exhaust (looked like un-burnt fuel) After a quick phone call for help. I was told I had probably just popped off one of my Inter cooler hoses. I had a look and sure enough thats what had happened. Clamped it back on, good as gold. Scariest thing I've had happen so far.
  18. PS3 vs Wii Hmm... I kinda want a Wii
  19. Maybe this should have been a 'What did you find in your Skyline' Thread
  20. Been hang'n out to see the GTR. I'll be there camera in hand.
  21. I've had my 33 for about 2 years now and yesterday I found this in my sun visor. I'm assuming it's a parking ticket of some sort. It's kinda kool to know that my line was somewhere in Japan on the 17-Oct-04. About 1 year before I bought it. Because I was told I was the first Aussi owner. And this kinda proves it. Anyone here able to translate it? So I can Google Map the location Be kool to see the streets it would have been belting around at the time.
  22. The sheets were screwed in place but due to the lack of adhesive down she came. The glue that they applied stuck quite well to the timbers but not so good to the gyp-rock. Maybe like you said "dust on the joists" but more so, dust on the sheets of gyp-rock. But I'll be contacting them again on Monday. See how I go. Leeman - LOL freaked me out man!! Sorry bud. There keepers
  23. Damage to the cars isn't to bad. Scuff marking mainly across the roofs and bonnet, paint chip on mirror and wing. Should be buffable. Still trying to organize quotes. But it's hell annoying coz now it's not a CleanGTS-t shy_s6 - House isn't moving to badly yet, no cracking or doors jamming. I don't think my soil to very reactive. However I do agree that housing is being rushed, but thats the industry. "Get it done, and get it done NOW" 4door_Sleeper - OMG man. You've basically stated everything I wanted to point out to them when I call next. I'm glad you posted, now when I call them again I can be very specific and again stress ASAP!! And yes I am sh!tting my self thinking about the rest of my ceilings. To be honest. It seriously looks like they started on the Swifty side (correct amount of adhesive) and worked their way over to my side slowly running out of adhesive until they had none left where it is just the screws remaining. I'd proffer it not to get to Name and Shame. Because all builders are the same. But we'll see how peed off I get. GTR-32 - O... I know the Swifty had something to do with it into oblivion - Yeah love my rims
  24. I woke up a few Saturdays ago to a strange noise at 3:30am It went a little like thud, thud, thud THUD!! and my car alarm went off I got up, heart pounding, rearing to go. Ran out the back to be faced with this image OMFG!! came to mined. LOL No warning it just fell down. I built my house 5 years ago and am shocked that this has happened. After getting over the shock, jumping up and down, yelling and screaming. I noticed that some of the beams didn't have any adhesive at all. Others had a little, and others had enough. Being the Swifty side. Goes without saying I have contacted my builder and sent them many photos and explained what I noticed. They have been good about it and have said they'll get it all fixed up for me ASAP. It's now been over a month and I'm still coming home to my exposed beam carport. And driving my bruised cars. So they'll be getting yet another phone call and maybe some email spam with pics of my car. *Just wanted to let people know that some carports may not be as safe a first thought* LOL
  25. LOL, yeah had a job change. Came with a company car. So I haven't had the Skyline out and about as much. In saying that. The Monday you spotted me, was my first day back at my old job. So might see ya more often in the mornings now
