Got mine replaced at a local workshop for $138 included lab. It's the exide battery though, but including lab, will do. If you're interested let me know and I'll pm the address.

Okay.... Bring a piece of wire or paper clip and a torch with you. http://pinoutsguide.com/CarElectronics/nis...ag_pinout.shtml While the car is off, jump pin 4 and pin 8 on the consult port (under the interior fuse box), turn ignition to on (do not start engine) The abs light should start flashing with error codes. ABS CODES Code No. Malfunctioning Part Reference Page 12 Self-diagnosis could not detect any malfunctions. 45 Actuator front left outlet solenoid valve 46 Actuator front left inlet solenoid valve 41 Actuator front right outlet solenoid valve 42 Actuator front right inlet solenoid valve 51 Actuator rear right outlet solenoid valve 52 Actuator rear right inlet solenoid valve 55 Actuator rear left outlet solenoid valve 56 Actuator rear left inlet solenoid valve 25 *1 Front left sensor (open-circuit) 26 *1 Front left sensor (short-circuit) 21 *1 Front right sensor (open-circuit) 22 *1 Front right sensor (short-circuit) 31 *1 Rear right sensor (open-circuit) 32 *1 Rear right sensor (short-circuit) 35 *1 Rear left sensor (open-circuit) 36 *1 Rear left sensor (short-circuit) 18 *1 Sensor rotor 61 *3 Actuator motor or motor relay 63 Solenoid valve relay 57 *2 Power supply (Low voltage) 71 Control unit Now write down the codes with a pen, then clear the fault codes Disconnect the check terminal from ground (ABS warning lamp will stay lit). Within 12.5 seconds, ground the check terminal three times. Each terminal ground must last more than 1 second. The ABS warning lamp goes out after the erase operation has been completed. Turn ignition to off, remove the wire/paper clip, then start the car & go for a drive. If abs lights up again, do the same to check the code.

From experience there is no one place that does it all, you just have to call around. Have a look here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Lo...ops-t13305.html give those workshops a call and see what their advise is. You may need to find a sparky or air con specialist near you. BTW, don't bother calling Nissan, they won't touch your car.

Cool, thanks! I'll give them a visit

jimmytim replied to discopotato03's topic in General Maintenance
Had this problem once when I got a complete flat battery. Just connect to the ecu via consult port and reset it. -
Great, only if I remember (or someone reminds me...I sure will forget)
-
Why don't they just put a camera (and night vision) in front of every truck...or even front parking sensor...those ones that beeps extremely loud inside

I've tried V-Power Racing last year sometime... You start the car in the morning...the idle just drop to around 500rpm as in wants to die, then it rev's itself... Use 98ron again, starts normal everytime. Didn't notice any difference at all.

Shane let me played with...five cars before I decide on which one to get

I'd love to get a copy (provided we're not breaking any laws) BTW, all you need is DVD shrink (this rips it to the hdd and region free the disc)

I'll keep my eyes open.

Yeah, saw that. Go Skyline Go! -
Well, to rule the steering lock out, just try it (turn the wheel about 45 degrees to the right without the key in the ignition, it should click and lock the wheel)

ICIC.... Would be good if they have a quick release with air bag though (I don't know if there is any) -
Has it got anything to do with the airbag or steering lock?
