  1. probably in main meetup at AP?
  2. on the 595s? don't worry about it, just take your rims, unless you're ripping mass skids you'll be fine. did that before on cheap shitty chinese rubber and it did nothing to them, winner. for decent times use the rims/tyres you're used to.
  3. And therein lies the crux; even if you don't get the result you wanted, there's no harm in being polite and thanking them for listening and their time. What goes around comes around!
  4. pffft course i'm entering 2 new tyres, naw, try and get your hands on some stockies or some AU falcon steelies, they fit well and do good skids. or if you're after good times, yeah, new tyres.
  5. we can just wrap his house in soundproofing then shit cry a river
  6. Not trolling, just curious: Why do you think it sucks balls, and how long have you used it for/did you use it for?
  7. No worries, I'll have a look-see when I get home for ya. true this, mac pass cruises are the bomb as are texis; if you're ready to go with your car by july 15, come up to nirimba: i'll be going from mum's house (APR), can cruise up together. damn fun day.
  8. if you record EVERYTHING in a book (hand written) or if it's emails, but make sure there's the day, date, time, how the contact was made or what happened, if contact then what tone was taken, etc etc. FULLY document everything, and it's admissible in court (if need be).
  9. jesus some of those people are full of shit
  10. Shiny OSX for day-to-day, Terminal window for srs bsns
  11. yep, got 4 spare rims with 7 tyres (3 on rims, 4 not). AWWW YEAH
  12. Oh I've got a manual on my laptop at home, I've chopped it up so it's all RB25DET specific, doesn't include the RB26 stuff. PM me an email address; from memory it's 18Mb or so, or I can try and upload it somewhere for ya.
  13. Hmm, trying to remember if it can be done, probably? Someone else could probably give a 100% answer on that. But I think it should be able to be done As long as you get the spanners to undo the locking rings, it's worth a shot, just make sure you measure how much further you move it so that you can do it to the other side the same.
  14. snow/steering will be traction control the other one looks like aerial up/down
  15. Still, the threat of the ACCC breathing down a small dealership's neck should be enough to get them moving on it all.
  16. from the top, the adjustments will be just to dampener settings. Taking the coilys out is surprisingly easy; I surprised myself when I swapped mine over that I didn't f**k it up Basically you jack the corner up and put it on stands, take the wheel off, and there's one big bolt that holds the bottom of the coilover to the axle, and then the three bolts in the engine bay, and bam out it comes but I can understand the hesitation, definitely. Shit if you weren't in the Shire I'd come take a look; a bit far to go after work and I get busy on the weekends going down to the gong heh
  17. holy shit o_o didn't realise you meant studs in the engine, faaaark. haven't done that before! I think your best bet, seriously, would be to take the cam cover off and do it when it's not on the engine. saves any hassle from potential damage, and thankfully isn't *that* hard to take off... jeez! *scared*
  18. ACCC. Dept. Fair Trading. Both of these places you should be looking into. http://www.accc.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/854467
  19. for this i'll forgive you i also harbour dirty unclean thoughts about evos
  20. You can change coils without taking them out, but I figure it's not that much effort to pull them out; far easier to change height from there. At least that's my experience with my BC's. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=18622&cat=422&page=9
  21. Can you post a pic of how bad it is? I'm down in Wollongong on weekends (Albion Park Rail) visiting family; if it doesn't look too bad, I'll dig and find what tools Dad has and see if there's anything useful there. Got new bolts though? From memory they're around $5 from Nissan (bought a bunch from Liverpool Nissan for joelymoley)
  22. dude WHAT? WHY?
  23. this is the goddamn coolest thing i have EVER seen. srsly
  24. Hmm, just wrote a bunch of things and they don't really describe why. Basically, personal preference, had PC laptops in the past and not keen on another one, and I have the disposable income to get something shiny (plus I'm fairly used to OSX now).
  25. maybe not; coilpacks will help if you're getting misses while smashing 2nd gear or going up in power (mods etc), but even just cleaning your AFM might help. Happy to have a look at it at the July texi (and I'm sure a bunch of guys who know more than me will be there too )
