  5. Hey Guys & Girls; Im after a 96 (i think) dash facia for my 94 r33 as the vynl paint is scratched and coming off. Im after the facia that has like a very fine sand blasted effect to it. I also need the gear stick surround as well Thanks guys and girls
  6. The bumper and side skirts are usually made out of a plastic called ABS. There will be some form of branding on the inside of the product confirming this. Just look for the ABS lettering. The plastic is injection moulded and can be repaired using any quality polyester resin two part system(resin and catylist) The trick is to get the oriniginal parts super clean with a good quality acetone. Just remember : no clean, no stick ! Then you need to get the original parts back together and find a way to hold them there then brush a thin coat of catylised polyester resin on the area, wait till it starts to gell . Then apply a layer of fiberglass or another very strong material on the gelling surface ,squeezing or rolling it into place. the let it cure completely. To finish it off mix up some more resin and paint it over the rest of the exposed fiberglass and let cure. Now If your head hasnt exploded by now from all that info you should be right
  7. Trev; Ive noticed some discrepencies in the Wiseco cattle dog In the Rb30 section the rod length in inches is wrong(if you divide the mm rod length into inches you get a different number) But the most concerning thing is in the Rb 25 section where the dome volume is stated as 14(I assume cc's) but if you look at the note at the extreme right the kit number is coded with a 1,2 notes number. If you go to the very bottom of the page you'll see the 1 coding is of not much concern but the 2 coding states that the piston is a flatop with no flycuts for the valves???? That aint gonna work. Any chance you can email them for clarifcation ? Let us know Peter
  8. Hey Im after a set of forgies for my Rb30/25 conversion whats happening with the order. Let me know. Ive been in touch with the people at rocket who stock the Aries forged pistons and they need both hands to find their own asses. I spoke to three different guys and got three different prices from $1047 to $1205 and they said theyed be in next week , early April maybe ??? Making further enquires the Aries pistons tend to have failure problems after 24 lbs boost ??? Jnr24 what kind of rings do the Weiscos come with are the ductile iron or chromemolly ? Im pretty keen to move on these if they are the right ones as my Rb 25 is on it s last legs. I got just about every thing else ready to go and the pistons are holding me up ! Thanks Dude

  13. benm; Just a note on the master cylinder brace. In the recent past I had a close look at the ones available on the market. Including the ones that are incorporated on the strut tower brace and wasnt really impressed. Most looked like an after thought. So in the end i designed and built one myself out of a adjustable hiem-joint. The after market ones seem to rely on the two small mounting bolts on the strut tower to take the entire load of the flexing or the firewall and master cylinder. These was, as far as i could see, still flex because the master cylinder pushes foward and slightly inward towards the center of the motor. to eliminate this I built a bracket that uses the strut tower only as a mounting point and the load is taken by a bracket that raps partially around the strut tower. It was a bit of a bitch getting the geomtry right but worth the effort in the end.If you need a squizz at it let us know. Hope this helps Peter
