Please join us for the first of our many Social Sunday events planned this year. Short and sweet these events are aimed to be early so you can get out & catch up with club happenings and then continue on with your day!
We’re planning our first social event for breakfast at a great cafe in Mulgrave - Mr Grumpy’s cafe.
When? Sunday 13 March
Location: Mr Grumpy’s cafe - 899 Springvale road, Mulgrave
Time: 9:30- 11 or earlier if we are all done.Members and their guests welcome, this is a social event.
Please indicate your intention to attend so that we can give the cafe a heads up of what to expect.Our club permit scruitineers and officers will be attending this meet, so this is a great opportunity also to have your club permit signed off for another 12 months if you are already registered in our scheme or if you have been trying to catch up with one of the officers to be signed off to register under SAUVIC for a club permit.

It's been a while since we have run a cruise or had a burger date, and when we saw the VSPEC Open day, we knew it was a sign.
Saturday 30th November
Meet: 11:30am - Tradies and Ladies Café Beaconsfield(AKA Sally's Big Ass Burgers) for a leisurely lunch. Departing on cruise approx. 1:30 - headed to check out the VSPEC open day in Blackburn. Cruise route will be released on the day.

SAU VIC are having a club display at the first event for the Custom Cars & Coffee season - Wheels for the Firies and we're looking for as many members and friends as possible to join us!
This is a charity event, fundraising for the CFA to be able to purchase a new thermal imaging camera, organized by the team at Custom Cars, Coffee and Southern BM.
We will meet at a point nearby at 9am on the day so we can all arrive together, details of the meet point will be released closer to the date to all who have emailed confirmation of attendance.
Location: Eltham College
Date: Sunday 15th October
Entry cost: $10 per car, spectators gold coin. (donated to the CFA) payable at the gate on the day.
If you'd like to park in the SAU VIC display on the day, please email [email protected] so we can confirm our numbers with the organizers.

This month we will be heading to a new venue for the SAU Vic monthly meet.
On Wednesday 13th September, Auto Technics will be hosting us for the night. They have a modern workshop, cafe, have ties to the motorsport world and are a great team to be working with. Be sure to check out their Facebook page >>>

It's been a while since our last cruise, and who doesn't love a good burger.... so why not combine the two?!
We are having a members cruise to the Tradies & Ladies cafe in Upper Beaconsfield to experience Sally's Big Ass Burgers. Mmmmm burgers!!!
Perhaps one of you will be the one to conquer Sally's Big Ass Burger challenge?!
As this is a CAMS insured event, all drivers must be financial club members. Never fear though, if you're not a financial member you can join in for the day for a gold coin donation which will be donated to charity at the end of the year! Please make sure you have your SAU VIC member cards with you as we will be checking them before supplying maps of the route.
WHEN: Saturday 8th July
WHERE: Meet in the carpark at The Manhattan Hotel, Cnr Heatherdale & Canterbury Rds, Ringwood - we will be near the shell servo, enter from Canterbury Rd.
TIME: 10am for a prompt 10:30am departure - arrive at Sally's around 12:00.
WHAT: Cruise through some awesome hilly roads for approximately 1.5 hours to Sally's Big Ass Burgers in Upper Beaconsfield, arriving around 12:00. Cruise and official event ends here, feel free to hang around/head home as you'd like.
We will be using UHF's on the day to stay in contact, if you own one please bring it along. We will announce the channel when we hand out maps.
PLEASE NOTE: HOONING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!! If you are seen to be breaking the law your registration will be taken and passed on to police.
