  3. http://www.bassdistribution.com.au/index.p...&g2_itemId=3588 Day 2 will be up tomorrow.. there is some great pics up there already... enjoy!
  4. I know its a stupid question but you dont have any of the 450x300x76 with 2.5" in/out do ya?? prolly not but no harm in asking I guess! cheers
  5. Just a little bit more info for you.... that calibra can open up the doors to 90 degrees but they decided to stop it just short so that they can allow the bonnet to be opened up fully whilst the doors are open,.. shows just how good the kit is. cheers
  6. I could get you the hinges..... as to finding some1 who can fit them I'm sorry I wouldnt know... a decent panel beater "should" be able to do it if they are willing to do a bit of custom work.... I have seen the GTF kits in the flesh and fitted to a car and I dont think they are overly hard to fit... would just have to take some time and patience to fit them... if you are serious about it drop me a pm or something and I'll see if I can find you some more info... cheers
  7. the GTF it is the kits that I am talking about... GTF is actually as far as I can tell from that website GT Factory hinges from the US which is what is fitted to the calibra above! cheers
  8. as far as I am aware it doesnt.... but I'm not too sure if he would actually let his car visit a multistory carpark in the beginning tho.. but you can see by the pic that they lift up a fair way but its still fairly low in comparison to say a 4wd etc... I'll see if he know the exact height of it with the doors up. cheers
  9. Here are some examples for you to see what I mean... This skyline at final battle with a scissor door kit fitted and the doors hardly go up enough to get in and out of the car.. it would do nothing but piss me off trying to get in and out of that. as opposed to this which is a friends car fitted with the before mentioned expensive kit. muc muh easier to get in/out of and looks a damn site better too.. cheers
  10. if you look at a real lambo etc you will see that there doors lift up to a full 90 degrees... and that even multistory carparks would have enough room for them as they accomoate high 4wds most of the time! cheers
  11. weather they are dodgy or not I dont really know.. unfortunately it looks that way... the biggest problem that I have with all these lambo/scissor door kits that are out now is that they dont actually lift the door up high enough. most max out at about 65 degrees and would make it awefully difficult to get in and out of the car.. unfortunately also the kits that will make the door go to a verticle 90 degrees or very close to it cost a damn site more at approx 2.5K just for the hinges. but IMO if you want scissor doors then you wanna do it properly coz if there low its just going to be a major pain in the ass... cheers
  12. I took a heap of pics at the event.. they are all here.... http://www.bassdistribution.com.au/images/fb04 I too flew accross from perth specifically for the event and then a weeks R & R so just got back... but show was a awesome, some things not to every1s taste but def gave me a few ideas!!.. altho I must say that if you are going to do scissor doors... get decent 1s as all the 1s at the show that I saw had the doors so damn low down it wasnt funny... makes getting in and out of the car extremely hard.... you need to get them just about verticle to work properly... there are kits out there to do it but they do cost a hell of a lot more!! cheers
