  1. My thoughts exactly... i spent tens of 1000's on playing with differrent turbos and the biggest decider (after all the practical experience is said and done) for me now is the relation ship between wheels/trims/housing size not whether or not it is split pulse... in fact i dont even give split pulse a second thought.
  2. i prefer just to rplace the whole hub, ring just jap or similar for a qoute expect to pay about 120-150 for the whole assy, it is a piee of piss to swap over.
  3. full titanium, they do two versions, i run the 80mm on our car as we used to run open twin 2.5" and lost no power with the 80mm so the added expense was not warranted. The one pictured above is indeed the 90mm version
  4. hey i think they are on the clearance list.
  5. What calculations are you using to determine optimum plenum volume and runner length?
  6. fark thats dear, i only paid a bit more and got a full PRO CARBON setup....
  7. thats fine, they allow for oversize.
  8. much closer than you think...
  9. haha nah i just find this forum (forced induction) gets all to serious, thought id put in a little sarcasm.... bit of tongue in cheek horespower gains. if i wanted a rise i would hardy be dialled into SAU theres a whole other universe of "rise" relevant websites.....
  10. Run the jumpers in STD positions, the instuctions for your car are included in the emanage ultimate and show exactly on the ecu where each wire needs to go. It could not be simpler.
  11. Sorry i thought you said you had GTST, GTR requires no mods. The pressure sensor allows you to map beyond the factory AFM, it also allows you to map the sensors then put this in a output map and take the airflow meters off completely (see explanation on page one) on GTR i reccomend running a nipple off each throttle body and then connecting them to a common tank to draw your map sensor signal. Our drift car ran this setup perfectly
  12. why limit yourself to GARRETT?
  13. seeing the car will explain why it is yellow i still think the whole yellow theme was better than all black or yellow and carbon mix. The carbon plug cover has half as many retaining screws an was selected for its superior airflow and ease of removal for plug inspection (about half the time to remove) and why it was orginally fitted but i dont like the asthetics only its functionality....... i may paint it yellow
  14. hmmmm HEINIKEN......
  15. 90-100 depending on car, i did it as it was apart anyway. Im glad i did.
  16. yeah they have alot of side ventilation, hard to see in pics.
  17. I had to drive Mark Phillips fully blown drifter round with the dog box and i can tell you it was a piece of piss to live with, the TRUST ones are made by QUAIFE and are super strong except for reverse.... be very gentle with reverse as there were many compromises made to fit a 6spd gear set in a 5spd case.
  18. If your really worried about the fan just get a greddy spec-m they are about the same price. No trimming required.
  19. heres the latest dyno i will post up a table later comparing the two datalogs of inlet temp and timing. with the new gaskets inlet temps were reduced by a substantial amount, to the point that the turbo outlet pipes would were so hot they would scald and the plenum was COOL to touch after 21 runs......... if you dont believe me check our the run number on the dyno sheet The cooler charge allowed us to dial in another 3-5 degrees of peak timing throughout the peak torque and top end IGN map areas.
  20. Hey not sure about these..... rice or nice. I fitted them but im still undecided.... the power increase was phenominal
  21. You will love it, Athid picked his up today (180sx) and had it fitted 20mins later GO FIT YOURS they sound so horn, when we were tuning the 26 in cats car everyone wanted to know what exhaust was on it....
  22. yup, there should be a metal t-piece that came in the box to remove baffle.
  23. haha this is a silencer to keep it legal in japan for JASMA approval. if you look underneath there is an allen bolt to remove it. I run this system on our car, if anyone wants a bargain they are about $899-$1000 depending on model from autobarns atm they have limited clearance stock see mine removed below.
  24. sorry guys flat out atm, will answer all asap
