  1. Sorted guys. Lol I called up turbosmart. They told me how to fix it. I took the bov off and undid the cap all the way till it came off. The spring poped out. I pushed hard on the piston coz it was jammed. Once it popped out you could see along the side of it, the spot where it was seizing. I jus used a bit of kero to clean all the crap off it and re-lubed the piston wit wd40 till it slid freely. Put it all back together and it's fine!! According to turbosmart you should do this at least every 6 months. They even give you a video. Here's the link if anyone's interested. Cheers guys http://www.turbosmart.com.au/technical-articles/looking-after-your-bov-or-bpv/
  2. The tension is backed off all the way. Ive had this one on there for a few years and haven't adjusted it at all. When I took the car out yesterday it was fine, but when I drove home it wasn't working. Ive been told to try pulling it apart and cleaning it. It's a turbosmart dual port one. Anybody had any experience with doin this?
  3. Hey guys. I just starting having a problem wit my BOV. It's a turbosmart one. The car makes that fluttering sound now. When I rev it under the hood, I can see that it isn't opening. The car is running fine tho. No leaks around it that I can notice. any idea how I can fix this? Do I jus get a new one?
  4. Hey, is there one for changing coil packs?
  5. Didn't really think about that. So if I don't rebuild it, wats the next step?
  6. Hey guys. I've got an r33 series 2 that I've had for 4 years now. Had it from 50000kms. Ive done pretty all the bolt on mods which I thought best and the car is running fine. Im getting 250rwkw. I want to look into rebuilding it as it is pushing 160000kms now and Im never gonna sell it, lol. Did most of the work myself but now I just want a strong engine. It's not exactly a daily driver, just a run around car. Not racing it or nothin like that. I don't even know where to start or how to go about it. Advice??
  7. Where can I get one?? Mine came off on the m4!!!
  8. Hey guys. My rb25 is experiencing a bit of cam endfloat on low rev range for some reason. I don't fully understand this. Wats the deal wit rb25s and cam movement? My cars got a few minor mods.
  9. Hey guys. My idiot neighbour is a car detailer. I let him do my car and he was cleaning the engine bay and got water into my alarm siren. It's a mongoose m80am. It's making a weird sound so I turned it off. If it dries, will it be alrite, or do I hav to replace it??
  10. Dunno bout splits, but I got mb quart 6.5" coaxials in there. They fit fine
  11. Hey guys. Got a set of pedders extremes on my car. Wouldve picked sumting else, but my mate works there and I know the owner. Got it pretty good price. It is a bit of a stiff ride, but it goes awesome round corners. IMO, not bad if u get it at a reasonable price. I'm satisfied enuf to still have it on my 33 2 years later
