    well, paul is quiet the phag, and he was discussing with his tuner on colour coding his aqua full motec header and exhaust and accesorising with hot pink rins and green wheel nuts. He seems to think it will bring all the boys to the yard, for what purpose i do not wish to know...

    there are alot of ways people build engines, and all have thier positives. I prefer to run a little tight for a daily drive, hence my recommendation. As for measuring, measure, dummy, measure again, cut a little measure.....see where this is going? You can never be too sure mate. Id rather spend an extra 4 hours on assembly than removing and replacing parts due to rushing it.

    Ok, for turbo and pump fuel applications only I use the bore multiplied by 0053 thou measurement, PROVIDED the bore finish is suitable for the ring type. The above measurement is in inches/thou and relevant only to the supplied cp-Carrillo ductile moly combo rings generally supplied by the manufacturer. If using full moly rings or a rh8 style ring it's different again. I suggest it's gapped by someone who knows what they are doing as its a time consuming process that is easily done wrong. Pm me for further info if you like, but be warned it may take a day or two for a reply. Cheers, allan

    this had been around in diesel tech for a few years now. Much easier to implement it on diesel as the size of the engine isnt a restriction i.e. plenty of room, and most diesels have an integrated air pump. Also, as it was relatively new tech back when, it was also more suited to diesel as it is a slower moving, albiet heavier system

    Nice fish mate! Looks healthy. Just a note though, always try to cradle barra if you intend to release them, as holding them by the jaw usually rips thier gillset away from thier artery

    Jeesus fcuk we had some rain! i recorded over 900mm in 2 days! Hope you lot close to the border are ready, this is pretty full on. I cant get to the farm, the river is approx 4 metres over the bridge, awonga dam has been going over for ages and last night it peaked at over 7 metres over! Good thing we have campbell newman to clean up the state...........maybe

    slowly roy. Had a fair few time constraints lately, had averaged over 90hrs a week up untill Christmas. Just waiting on a possible fuel rail group buy i will be doing then im set to go i think. Getting pretty anxious and really want it done to be honest with you lol
