  1. I can tell you a 3037s 0.73 AR on a RB25 Neo is not laggy at all. I reckon it's the gun choice for a stock engine RB25.
  2. lol, I want to gloat so bad, but my sense of honour prevents it. I'll just enjoy that 3l asahi when the time comes. nice looking GTR, I must say I don't like the wheels, and it looks like it has an RB25 timing belt cover but apart from that it looks hardcore!

  5. I was passing through bathurst the other day so I stopped off and did some laps in the GTR. It's been years since I've been up there and I reckon I'll need a lot more than $5600 if I take the GTR there to do some 'racing speed' laps. I would well and truly have it binned after half a lap I reckon. It's awe inspiring though and definately needs some slightly conservative driving on there to stay in the hunt. I guess it must take many, many laps to get enough confidence and track knowledge to push really hard. It was good fun in the GTR though, and good value at $0.00.
  6. $365 is not too far off the money. it's still a bargain upgrade considering you basically then have the same gear as a brembo set-up for only $365.

  8. this thread has run it's course. it's a pretty bloody simple equation. yes a gutted cat will flow more than a cheap, small body cat. a good quality high flow cat will probably flow more than a gutted cat. a straight pipe will most likely flow more than them all. of these options the only legal ones are either the stock small cat, or an aftermarket highflow cat. if you want to break the law my advice is don't post about it. the power difference between a proper high flow cat, and a gutted cat has been proven time and again to be 9/10ths of bugger all.

  10. well most certainly if it is proven that mclaren knew about it, and benefitted from it then I would say they will be excluded from the WDC and the WCC, posibly even for the remainder of the season. but I thought the whole point of this was that mike and nige were stealing stuff from their respective teams to take with them to honda?

  14. you will be heaps quicker ando. if you are doing 1:13s at wakefiel, but doing 1:58s at EC either you really love wakefield, or you were getting held back badly with the limiter at EC. 1:13s at wakefield should put you at around a 1:55 or lower at EC.

  21. no chance of a direct bolt on 300rwkw. well you could do it, but it wont be a nice set-up. if you want 300rwkw bear in mind you need a lot of other bits too. decent front mount (not cheap rubbish ones) 550cc injectors or bigger high volume fuel pump bigger afm is advisable too strong clutch good tyres good brakes and this is just the basics, there are lots of other desirable bits to have too with that kind of power. but if it were me, and I wanted a 300rwkw R34 GTT I would get: HKS 3037S 0.73 A/R HKS GT-II 60mm wastegate custom steampipe manifold (6boost ones are very nice) that will give you 300rwkw and be on 1.5 bar boost around 4000rpm.

I've also decided we'll allow lower ride height again. sick of these stupid looking front wings. definately allow johhny herbert to race in his 1999 stewart. i may consider a handicap start too. let him have a 5 second headstart on the rest of them. yoong karthekian and mazzacane can all duke it out for a spot in two cars. before each race they will have to perform a series of tasks. and maybe we can have sms voting big brother style to see who get's the drive on the day. the loser has to collect debris from the track during the race, and work as pit crew on both cars. montoya is definately allowed back as the cubby colombian likes a good tanty which can be lacking from F1 sometimes. instead of a champ car engine, I may even let him bring, and race in a champ car just to liven things up a bit. I don't know how I could have left monty out. I will need some good advisers to help me when I'm at the top. and none of them will be bernie bloody eccolstone or max freakin mosely you can be sure of that. jean alesi can come back in the jordan as he has a facy name. as for no more us GP, this would never have happend if I was in charge.
  23. sure you can physically bolt them on and they wont fall off, but they are not suitable for GTR.
  24. or maybe bring back alex yoong. I saw he like a bit of the ol smash 'em up style of racing in A1. I'd like to see the f1 like this: webber and sato at either maclaren or ferrari. or maybe they could drive both and chose the best car on sunday? put hamilton in a 2002 minardi. put alonso in the renault as punishment for jumping ship on flava flav put yoong in the other renault with orders of shoot to kill. put raikonen in commentary along with murray walker (kick brundle and allen out the door, let them serve beers in the GP bar) bring back MS and put him in a BMW. let ze cherman drive for ze cherman team. bring back cry baby mika hakinen and let him have a honda leave button and rubens in either honda or SA. force ralf to continue driving the toymotor as punishment for going for the dollars not the glory. put DC in the big mac when sato and webber aren't using them. otherwise he could rive with MS at BMW (now that would be a fun pair). give all cars back full slicks and a choice of tyre maker so that we may one day see some passing. and heaven forbid some people loosing it. no more TC no freakin autostart no more auto up or downshifting let drivers smoke and drink and bang groupies in the hope that they may one day becoming interesting again. tell bernie he is not allowed to make out with any supermodel girlfriends in public. it's just gross even watching the shrivlled old man even stand next to a 6 foot hottie. same goes for flava flav. and while were on him, tell him to use anti-perspirant. and when he does get sweaty, nip into the trailer for a towelling off and a change of shirt. no one wants to see his sweat patches. completely revise the point system. atm it encourages boring racing. that's all for now.
  25. well if we are turning to joss the boss now why not look a little further a field to the Baron. that is the Beer Baron. he can't drive a greasy stick up a dogs arse but he can hold more cans than kimi raikonen. and I reckon I'd be a bit hit in the driver interviews..... if only I could ever get to the podium and be in one.
