  1. GTSBoy - yeah I still have all washers and nuts etc, no problems there. Yeah I am going to get under there soon and do some measuring. Whiteline ones are my last resort Thanks!!
  2. KiwiRS4T - yeah they were the ones I was going to get, did they fit your Selby bar ok? No issues? Duncan - I seem to have had a vague memory of "custom " when we 1st bought em , so at least that confirms my suspicions. They asked me to see if I could get a stamped part number from the bush. My problem is both top bushes are totally gone , I am thinking some dirt road corrugations did it I only have 1 remaining bush but I will get under and measure that. As you said probably quite generic. Fulcrum ( who now do Selby ) did send me a link to a bush that they did have , but the dimensions seemed to make no sense. I think I need to get my vernier calipers out and have a measure. GTSBoy - you got any links etc on the ARB page? Pin Bushes was the term I heard from Fulcrum , never heard it before ( been out of the car scene for a long time so excuse my ignorance ) Thanks to all for helping me out , at least I have somewhere to go from here. Looking after my daughter ATM but will get under the car when my wife gets back. If I end up finding a correct part I will reply and let everyone know. Once again Thank you!
  3. Hi We imported the wifes Stagea through these guys, we were a bit green to the whole import scene , yes communications was a bit patchy at times, but that was over 6 years ago. To be honest I am looking to sell my s15 and import another car using J-spec , so yeah.. I would rate them. All i can say is be ready with your $$ , as we got told with 1 days notice we had to pay the landing fee ( or something like that ) and yeah that was a fair bit of $$ and this was all before paypal etc made everything so easy. In summary , I rate em
  4. Hello all.. About 6 years ago I put an aftermarket sway bar on the wifes WC34 Stagea, it was a Selby Swaybar and I am pretty sure we ordered it from Just Jap ( great mob BTW , v helpful ) Soooo .. many years later I hear a clunking noise and get under and have a look at the sway bar and the sway bar link bushes have vanished. Tried Fulcrum suspension who now deal with Selby Sway bars , but they do not have a model number that fits the Stagea, they do a front bar but not a back , so they were none the wiser as to what bushes might fit. Just Jap went to a new ordering system years ago , so they don't have record of the part number either. I am going to post up a few pics in hope that the sway bar link is similar across other Selby Swaybars I really only need the 2 bushes each side on the top of the sway bar link where it connects to the lower control arm.
  5. Hi all Had a brain fart moment and ordered some swaybar bushes for where the sway bar link meets the lower control arm. Only to realise that the rear sway bar linkage and bushes are after market and not factory , aahh there is that distant memory! So I basically have the top 2 bushes for each side of a CN34 Stagea, where the sway bar link goes into the lower control arm. Paid over $70 for them , chasing $60 ono , brand new never even test fitted , it was blatantly obvious I screwed up when they would not even fit over the link .. whoops! Hope someone can find a good home for em. Thanks all ... And yes it's been a Loooonggg time since I have been on these forums
  6. Push the back seats down , take the front wheel off and whack it in the back.
  7. Ok so the Stagea is all done. New rear rotors * coulda got em machined down but new rear rotors didnt cost that much so I thought meh , might as well * Front rotors skimmed New EBC black pads up front Bendix CT down the back, Bled all the brakes, took it for a short test drive and everything sounds perfect. Shame Australian Air express totally f@cked up my shipment of pads and overnight turned out to be like 3 days. but I am happy its all good now
  8. Someone has mentioned the little bleed screw near the thermostat by now surely? ( too lazy to read thread ) I had a really weird problem like this in my Pulsar - turned out the thermostat was bung. something to look at I suppose
  9. Well I had a win today with going to Brakes West In Myaree , They had the rear pads and rotors in stock and are ordering me in some EBC Blacks from over east, get the front rotors skimmed fresh and fingers crossed that should be it for a while !
  10. Do they come in manual ? I would have thought a manual would give you a bit more power at the wheels
  11. Selling my GF100 Laser Jammer that I got from http://www.radars.com.au/radar_detectors/g...aser-jammer.php Asking $175, I think thats fair as it has not seen a whole lot of use. I can also give you a tester for it ( like a keyfob ) Reason for selling? I need $ for a tripod. Please keep this thread free of moral finger pointing and legality conversations please. You can use them for off road buggy laser tag games y0 PEEW PEEW Please call me or sms me on 0419916324 Thanks
  12. As others have said - go to Repco and get a 600mm Breaker bar for like $60 or so think of how much greif this has cost you , easily worth $60 to do it right the 1st time I have a rattle gun and compressor but me and my breaker bar can get nuts off that the Rattle gun just does SFA to . ( it IS a cheap rattle gun in all fairness but I prefer the control of a breaker bar )
  13. Why not the wire mesh covers you can get from Jaycar etc. OOOOH , Sealed , thats why! ! No wait - that will still work , thats my final answer
  14. haha.. mentioning b00bs WAS asking for it!
  15. Ok some good points brought up there, but no real life tales of woe yet. The parking sensor ones are a good point, but what about the old ones that are specifically made for blocking , It would be hard to plead your case then. Many of them turn themselves off after 4 seconds, so thats another good thing going for them .
  16. Thanks for the clarification. Oh and to note I dont take a moral stand one way or the other on these devices, I just wanted to see what goes down once you get caught with one. I am pretty sure the " parking sensor " excuses wont fly with the cops./
  17. Just curious to see what has happened to you if you got busted using a laser jammer to overcome speed guns/Traps. I am fairly sure they are not legal , but just wanted to hear your story as to what happened after you got pulled over/caught.
  18. Good call on the compressor and lines comment , very analytical of you Apparently bags dont handle all that well, but I guess its what you are chasing , looks or performance.
  19. thats SIIIIICK! I want! though would want to make sure there were no cats under the car when you put it on its lowest setting!
  20. Coilpacks no longer needed, Thanks for all those that replied. Still interested if anyone has a loom for Sale
  21. I dont think thats it hey, cause last night I got home and took the car for a boot around the block and could not fault it, so just to be sure I took the coilpacks out ( didnt touch afm at all ) , had a look and re-assembled, and the car actually got WORSE. So in my mind I disturbed 1 part ( coilpacks and coilpack harness) and the problem got worse, this would indicate its probably a failing coilpack. do you agree?
  22. ok , to cut a long story short , after a recent and very basic service , our s2 Stagea has started playing up. Initially after the service it was working just fine, running smooth as anything, After a few days it started to misfire, I was not driving the car at the time but basically it was reported that the car was juddering, this only happened about 1.5 days after the service. The only things done on the service was plugs , oil , oil filter , so pretty basic, something I have done many times before. After my partner Loretta started complaining of the car playing up I took the coil packs out , sprayed electrical contact cleaner on everything , re assembled and checked. The car definately feels its running on 5 cyl. I am either thinking its the coilpack loom/harness that is at fault ( because a few of the plugs dont feel like they click into the tops of the coilpacks ) , as a temporary fix I cable tied all the coilpack connectors to the top of the coilpacks, so I am pretty sure its not a loose connector there. I need the following a) borrow a known working good set of RB25DET NEO coilpacks, payment in beer/cooked goodies b) find somewhere that I can get a good deal on some Splitfire coilpacks delivered to WA by Thursday at the latest. c) Borrow/Buy a known good coilpack harness/loom , so I can eliminate the loom as being a problem. Guys and gals , I am seriously in the sh1t here cause I need the car running reliably preferably before the weekend as we were supposed to be going on a trip down South , could it possibly be worse timing? I can be contacted via mobile on 041-991-6324

  24. weird ! I used the supplied lines and all ok , even with some pretty tight radius bends in it. Oh and I put up some pics etc of the PWR 6cyl cooler we used, so far seems all good. Gave the PWR 6 cyl cooler a thrashing in the middle of summer and no gear shenannigans what so ever.
