  1. I'm in the process of installing one of these. I have to say that its very disappointing, that 4+ years after this was brought to race-pace's attention, the G sensor cable is still only around a metre long and is not detachable like the controller interface (the on off button/2wd-4wd switch/0-50 split pot). It really limits the configuration flexibility. RacePace-Can you please at least add another metre of G-sensor cable in future. It'll cost you a dollar. Thanks -D
  2. Got an intact parcel shelf or any of the brake ducts/underbody diffusers? -D
  3. FS 2x R33 turbos that were rebuilt with the steel wheel turbine + 360 bearing kit approx 4 years ago. One of them is leaking oil into the exhaust housing and both of them have shaft play. Will need new bearings and possibly seals (I haven't disassembled them). Turbos were doing 285kw at 20psi 3 months ago. $500 ono for the pair including shipping to anywhere in Australia. Will consider swaps for R32 GTR parts+cash Pickup available in Adelaide -D
  4. Hiya Do you have the attesa computer that sits underneath the parcel shelf? Thanks -D
  5. Anyone remember the Pikey's from Snatch? This is gold.... watch all 4 episodes.. "Game of Mobile Homes" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gR8cLYxTQx8
  6. Yeah its been a fair while since Ive taken the car out to do anything fun. I'm keen. Rather a small group cruise than the big NS cruises for sure -D
  7. Niswreck also have a service where they'll compliance your car and take it thru regency for ya, if you just want to get it done quickly -D
  8. 9 demerit points if you get caught in most states outside of WA -D
  9. I use boostworx for just about everything - pretty good value for money and they've always done a good job on my gtr -D
  10. When I was a kid I wanted a Countach or an F40, till I got past the age of 6 and figured out how expensive they were... still wouldn't pass one up if I won the lotto, newer cars be damned. Growing up in woomera there was a dude who lived close who drove a lime green and black SLR5000.... it was the most impressive thing I'd seen at the time, still got a soft place for toranas. Them and 67-73 mustangs. As well as the AC Shelby Cobra - for looks alone, let alone the power. Modern Cars? Audi R8 or anything by Pagani. Too bad I ain't a millionaire. -D
  11. FS - Nismo replacement speedo cluster with 260kph speedo to suit Zenki R32 GTR. Will only suit 1989-1991 zenki GTRs which use the beige PCB circuit on the back of the cluster - later models will not work. odo has 091xxx on the front - unit has been removed from a working GTR last sat and everything is tested OK. $250+buyer pays shipping/pickup in Adelaide -D
  12. Nismo R32 GTR 260kph Speedo Cluster - $250 ono Only suits Zenki (1989-1991) GTRs with beige circuit pcb's. -D
  13. Especially if the drift wing goes higher than the roofline. Wings always have to fit within the width, length and height of the body without it, ie they can't alter the measurements. Not sure specifically why, probably some safety issue I imagine. Always best to call regency in either case -D
  14. FS leftover electronics Car camcorder - chinese generic brand 720p @ 30fps, 1080p at 15fps, saving to microSD 32gb. Has GPS and g-sensor logging. affixes to windscreen with suction cap. comes with hdmi cable, usb cable, cig lighter power *NO SD CARD* - $70 Clarion head unit, 4x50 watt, CD-R/RW MP3 single din. No screen. Nothing fancy but really good sound quality. Comes with remote and manual $70 Generic chinese head unit, single din fold out touchscreen 7" with remote. Plays dvds, mp3, mp4 etc, bluetooth phone, gps (sd card provided with latest software), a2dp bluetooth streaming, ipod in, etc. These are $250 atm on ebay, $120 pick up, including wiring plug and manual. 15. Found a place that sells the rubber strips, much cheaper than the entire assembly - http://www.rightdriveparts.com/interior-exterior/132-nissan-skyline-r32-door-glass-weatherstrip.html -D
  16. You'll be hard pressed to find that bit in decent condition on any car in aus. That rubber strip decays superfast in our climate and they cost around $650 new from Nissan (If anyone can source them cheap, please do let me know) I want to replace mine too, but they're super expensive and I've been looking for 2 years and found squat. -D
  17. Tyrepower Blackwood if you're in the south, Adelaide Radial Tyre if you're in the north - been to both and both have done excellent alignments -D
  18. Hi Mate I too have an R32 GTR and it came with a really shit alarm. Best I can recommend is to take it to a pro to safely remove the old/dead alarm and then secondly to fit a decent replacement. Bear in mind removing/fitting alarms isnt cheap cause its very time consuming due to the labor involved. You'll be looking at $600-800 to remove and fit an alarm and that doesn't include the alarm. Don't skimp on the alarm or the installation, this is the one thing that'll keep your car safe if setup properly - you don't want to buy an alarm and then not have it work due to a substandard install. I can recommend Ministry of Bass (south/west of the city, not far from cbd) or GT Autosound (North/east), I've used both shops and they both have great prices and know their stuff. -D
  19. Cant believe it cause they dont follow your LNP agenda? I happen to agree that the 'AMEP' are a disorganized rabble, but people voted for such disorganized rabble. The people spoke last election - they said 'Labor sucks, lets turf em out' and just as many said 'the LNP are no better, I don't trust Abbott, I'm going to go grassroots' This is a rejection of the two party system across the board. Greens picked up loads of primary votes as labor voters flocked to them, yet the Greens lost the all-so-vital labor preferences. And lets not forget the Coalition is just that - two mediocre parties that couldnt organise a piss in a wading pool and so had to join forces to get a majority. As nutty as some greenie policies are, people are so turned off by the LNP and ALP that they will throw their vote anywhere. If the democrats hadnt imploded they might be doing quite well right about now. This is democracy working. The people that didnt vote for Abbott want this. They want his loony 1950's antisocial agenda stymied. Praise jesus.* -D *Not an endorsement of any alternative political party - merely a rejection of everything the LNP seems to stand for.
  20. FS 1x single din foldout 7" touchscreen head unit non brand name generic chinese head unit - but a relatively good one -gps (igo map pre-loaded) -bluetooth (incl music over bluetooth) -mp3/dvd/mp4 playback (never used it but its there) -analogue tv tuner built in (useless - can put a digital tuner on it however) -reverse camera capable -usual in and out video ports, remote control, etc -usb and ipod connector (never used it) -it even does am and fm radio - impress your friends! Paid $400 at the start of the year, want $300 for it since its barely been used. Open to offers but lowballers need not waste my time. Upgrading because I'm going 2 DIN fixed screen carpc - this unit works great and I've had no issues with it -D
  21. I guess the next thing I'd be checking if you know those are secure (windscreen, dash, dash reo, hang-ons) would be to ensure that every bush in your suspension is up to scratch and any adjustable components are lubed and tightened to spec. grease the hell out of anything that has a grease nipple. also dont discount sway bar bushes cause they can get noisy with age. aside from that, nfi -D
