  1. Wow a gtst! The wing and shadows are deceptive - looks very clean....a credit to you.
  2. Thanks for your help Callan. The project is an old holden. I had a great semi-standard brake set up on a R33 GTSt I previously owned, just had slotted rotors and Bendix ultimate pads. So loving Nissan brake performance, I am looking at the possibility of adapting a Brembo GTR brake set up to my 76 model holden. Love your GTR btw.
  3. OK.........good point(regarding the surface area of the pad), so what size are R33 GTR rotors??? Thanks. I've had a killer headache all day - sorry if I'm asking stupid questions........my mental state is compromised - but am still needing input
  4. I'm hoping to use R33 GTR Brembo callipers on a project - planning 18" stepped lip rims which will only have internal diameter the same as a 17" rim, but will give me a better rolling diameter with the rubber. So as my topic title suggests...........looking to find out what are your thoughts for rotor size to suit my application. Oh also where is the best place to acquire these parts that I will require? - I'm not too bothered.........new or used, happy to receive suggestions for both options. Cheers.
  5. There may be a career in this transformation gig once your done. Let me be the first to get in line to order same conversion please :-) I have owned multiple LH/LX Torana's and also multiple R33 Skylines - they are both(by a country mile) my favourite vehicles. So if you feel you you would like do repeat the process once this one is complete - I'm here........admiring your talent and frankly great taste in cars :-)
  6. As I have bought a new car and am currently waiting (ever so patiently) for my R33 Skyline beast to sell, I now need a new battery (must remember to drive the girl occationally this time round). What battery is everyone using & how happy with the performance and price have you been? Also if anyone is using wet (acid) battery's.........how safe is it being located in the boot with the fuse compartment?
  7. bump (last time). If you people can't see great value in this awesome car, I just don't understand. This vehicle should have been sold 20 times over at the price she is being offered for.
  8. SERIOUS PRICE DROP!!! $18,000 or 16,500 with standard alloy mags with as new tyres....cheapest quality high performance Skyline around. I have bought my new car and need a new home for the Skyline. Contact Dean on 0403.323.129 for more information.
  9. Could you tell me what the distance from the centre of your wheel, to your wheel arch on both front and rear. I already have after market springs and am unsure where standard height was originally. Cheers.
  10. bump. Any interest people? Over $20,000 spent on mods scince imported standard. I am only the 2nd Australian owner & both the !st owner and I are super fussy on maintenance and quallity. I recently had a guy interested in a straight swap for a 2001 5.7litre V8 SS ute which I must confess, I am still consdering, but would prefer to make a sale and choose my own replacement vehicle. The only reason I am offering the Skyline up for sale is because my wife and I live inner city Brisbane & we (in Feb.) had our first child, which means I only sit in city traffic to and from work in the Skyline and we drive the family car on the weekends for obvious reasons. So the fast car needs a new owner that will have the chance to take this cool vehicle to have some fun and go cruising (none of which I am able to do. First person to drive my Skyline will buy it! This was undoutably the case for the guy in the SS ute.

  12. Someone mentioned the beep that sounds when the door is open, with keys in the ignition................I (and I assume others) like to sit with the door open and legs out the door occasionly, listening to the radio. Is there a way to stop this particular beeping......MY GOD IT'S ANNOYING!!
  13. What suburb in melbourne could these parts be viewed at? I possibly will get my brother to have a look for me, cheers.
  14. Hi. was looking for the drivers seat belt over shoulder assist bracket. Also, does either vehicle have aftermarket sway bars, front or rear? cheers.
