You assembled it with out installing the crank oil gallery plugs and ran it on the dyno? How did you not see they were out if you cleaned the crank prior to installing it? How much damage did it do to the rest of the motor and turbo? Good luck i think your going to need it.

Try Hyper drive in the north or X-speed in the south both will do a top quality job .

Hi Brad heard about this project and have done a bit of digging.The same motor just been built in perth and has twin 2530's making 500hp at 16psi with awesome response great carto drive by all accounts,here comes my point another gtr rb26 with 87mm pistons making it nearly 2.7 runs a single garret to4z with the 81 or 86 housing has the same power curve and response but running 20psi at 520hp with a bit more room to move.For my money i would be going the garret with the same housing dont make the mistake of going to big as they make good hp but are no fun on the street. cheers Danny

I have used the ppg dog box in my car for about the last 18 mounths and have had no problems at all.This box has been abused(me learning to drive it and drag raced) as well as a lot of street driving.I lent this box to a friend for a while and they ran a 10.6 second pass in it as well.I run 600rwhp and my friend ran 700rwhp he now also has brought a box and runs 799rwhp,neither of us has broken one or had any problems these boxes are great ,easy to drive on the street the only down side is they are a little loud.Parts are in stock here in Australia and they are very helpfull.Iwould recommend this box to anybody.Hope this helps.

first sign of wear is excessive rear wheel spinning when you launch a gtr hard.If worn out and slipping,it will not damage to much besides the clutch packs which will require changing at this point any way.Hope this helps.

Try your ignition module on top of rocker cover have seen these do this a couple of times.

Hi guys Just changing my gtr from single plane bearing turbo to a ball bearing turbo and just wondering were would the best point to get water supply from and the best point to return it to on the motor,ensuring there is enough flow to keep the core cool and not add to much heat directly to the back of the motor.

All the autronics i have seen fitted to skylines over here(includingmy own) in WA have all been removed due to on going problems and lack of support from the autronics distributors, i would recommend the motec have never heard a bad word about it yet. Also as the others have said find a tuner that you like and trust and use what they recommend.

Having see what happens to shot peened rods after 450hp i would spend the extra dollars.It's much cheaper to do the job once v's doing a whole rebuild again because rods bent.

Hey i have seen this with the iridum plugs a number of times having replaced them with NGK bcp6es or 7es tends to solve the problem but if it continues try the spring conection between the coil and spark plug as corosion can build up and cause a problem.Good luck
