  1. the sound of this thing was incredible trying to upload vids now, didn't get much though. curious to see mitch's footage
  2. pfffff f3ck yeah, there was only 2 groups, sessions went for approx 12-14 minutes, by the time we went back to the pits and cooled our cars down, watch the ferrari and the holden (which sounded absolutely insane, got towed in. got a pic of his engine bay + a li'l footage of it... i'll upload shortly) go at it for a few laps), we were being called for the next session . could of got heaps of track time if the car held up. I left a bit after midday, as was kinda bummed the car f%cked up again. curious to see how long mitch was at it buggered if i know mate, i am teh noob when i comes to working on cars/diagnosing faults etc. going to take it into envy imports to checked as soon as i get some cashflow http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ml#entry3981809 shameless plug . on my first session (which only had 3 other cars!!), i thought about 9 laps into it that the turbo was making a suttle tinny, metallic noise coming onto boost - 3076r running 20psi. took it a bit easier for the last couple of laps. 2nd session kept an eye/ear on it. revved it up a bit before the third session, and still thought it sounded a bit odd, and after about 7 laps on my 3rd session ( noise getting marginally worse), i was on the last turn coming into the straight (i hate the corner btw, still haven't got the hang of carrying any decent speed through it still), dropped it into second gear, floored it, and at about 5000rpm it just jolted and i lost power, twas quite scary). kept going for 2 more laps, and noticed that it only ever did it on that turn. but then after another lap was doing it in 2nd and 3rd, and getting worse, called it quits. drove the car home fine, drive's fine off boost. but the turbo's definately got issues. still makes boost as per normal, put makes a really, really weird noise on song. so drove it off boost the whole way home. i'm amazed how fuel efficient my car CAN be when i don't gun it. From wakelfield to naremburn i got 270km's from 23 litres of petrol, just by babying it in 5th gear 80% of the way. i usually average 350km's per tank with some highway driving + giving it some stick. at wakie i used up half a tank and only did 100k's
  3. well it was just mitch and I from SAU who made it today. there was only about 15 cars that rocked up the whole day. was split into 2 groups, 1st group was street cars comprising of 2 integra's, 1 mx5, 2 wrx's, 5 holdens, an evo, an old school porsche, mitch's r33 gtr and my r33 gtst..can't remember what else the second group had only 2 cars: a heavily modified hsv and a ferrari f430 that managed a 1.03 !!) My car started to play up at the end of the second session (shuddering under full throttle in 2nd and 3rd gears + turbo is making a very weird noise on boost ), so decided to play it safe and retire while the car's still driveable. Mitch managed to record a 1.15 lap before lunch time (not bad for a 33gtr still running street tyres and stock ecu ). Took a few photos/video which i'll upload soon, and mitch had his in-car camera recording away. had an awesome time, can't believe no one else went
  4. bloodsword27, this is the second time you've said you'll buy stuff off me then not followed through or answered PM's. pretty annoying. i'll sell the bushes to someone else
  5. seeing as my girlfriend's still on her L's learing on a toyota echo, somehow i dont think it's a goog idea to put her in charge of an r33 gtst with 280rwkw
  6. go to wakie, then hawaii, then worry about $ . life is short
  7. pass it over here, i'll give it a good home
  8. well seeing as i only managed 1 session out there during the SAU NSW offical track day a few weeks ago at wakefield, i've been left wanting more. Is there anyone else going to this besides myself and 'mr moo'? it's on this coming monday 30th June http://wakefieldpark.com.au/index.php?opti...6&Itemid=42 I realize it's very late notice to those who were unaware it's on. I would've posted it earlier but my car's only just been fixed from the last outing. For people wanting to drive down there the night before, accomodation is available at http://www.mikesmanor.com/ $40 per person twin share, cooked breakfast included. Call mike on his mobile to make a booking. For those who don't mind getting up early, there will most likely be a meet up at 5.30am at berowra truckstop, and i'm sure another meet up point could be arranged if there's enough interest.

  13. Use the search function, this topic get's asked every week. For example if you search rb25 turbo upgrade , you would have found this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...mp;hl=rb25+dyno Find the turbos that you find fit your power requirements, then search some more and you will be able to make an informed decision about which one to choose. And secondly (i mean this in the nicest possibly way), can you please type in normal, understandable sentences. cheers
  14. if you're wanting to do some track work get the k750's not the k500's. the k750's still work well on the street. bought my k750's a while ago, pretty happy with them, can't argue with the price markk sells them for either
