  1. If i had a few more horsies at the wheels i would get FKV85 (f**k v8s) Still avail for someone with a quick GTR
  2. After leaving my car at that big xmas cruise i come back to find a small golf ball sized dent in my car door. Paint is all fine, should be an easy fix Unrelated, I took out my drivers side mirror against a post in a parking lot. Im not gonna pretend it was my gf, it was me just wasnt paying attention, too tired. Lucky it hit my mirror otherwise i would be looking at a new door. Anyway the actual mirror is fine, just the glass smashed. Best place on the northside for a small dent repair, and best place to find myself a series 2 r33 drivers side mirror
  3. 18 months, 4 points still remaining little common sense, lot of luck
  4. gday guilt toy, few questions about your little computer setup you have (if the chicks digg a hand controller they would be touching themselves over your setup). nah seriously i have the v44 plugin in my 33 and would like to moniter stuff + have it for itunes + videos. hat input does the screen have? Im by the quality its not AUX input How much rougly for the screen? Do you have a laptop or have you built yourself a little computer and just chucked it somewhere? If you have build a little computer (should be able to do so for $200-$300), what are you doing for the power supply (the only tricky part)?
  5. 1998 R33 GTST Series 2 Stock turbo + injectors (80%) Walboro Fuel pump, Sard fuel pressure reg, pod, Hybrid HDi FMIC, full exhaust + dump ViPEC ecu + boost control 13psi - 244 HP 9psi - 214 HP safe tune, still seems a little low tho
  6. this is depressing, I have exactly the same car (40th anniversary), similar mods sucks to be trying to sell a skyline now hopefully stuff will pick up when the interest rates drop a bit
  7. i got a plugin installed on my 33 series 2 gtst by Mark @ godzilla. made 245rwhp with stock injectors and turbo @ 13psi (i got fuel pump and regulator, hybrid fmic, pod, dump + highflo cat) but it runs really smooth, a lot more responsive than it was with the stock ecu should be good when i round up some more $$$ for turbo and injectors and splitfires
  8. +1 godzilla, just got mine back with ViPEC ecu in tonite
  9. ive got one and I love it. Spools way quicker than stock. cheaper than the eboost2 and newer than profec i have no complaints, works great, easy to install
  10. i am in the same situation, and i have chosen to go the vipec with Godzilla Motorsport, yet to hear anything bad about them
  11. money to be contributed to my ecu fund;;; stock r33 airbox - off a 1998 r33 gtst, comes with apexi highflowing filter - $150 - washing powder unfortunately not included r33 series 2 rear tail lights and rear skyline thing (not sure what it is called) - $200 Beachbeat 6ft8 x 20 3/4 x 2 3/4 surfboard. Is a good first shortboard, good for beginners or small days, is quite fast and fun in small stuff. It does have a 3rd fin, i just find it a lot more responsive and fun with only 2 in. Fairly good conditition, is covered in dirty wax in the photo, will clean up nice - $350 All items are in Newmarket (10 mins north of Brisbane city), PM if interested

    Ecu Advice

thanks mate it looks like looking for a power FC is the way to go I am fine spending up to $2500, however I would rather put that money towards my new turbo+injectors if possible

    Ecu Advice

Yeah looks as if i definately misunderstood that part, thanks for the advice I obviously do not wish to pay for something advanced which will just be unncessary for my future plans (mid sized turbo + injectors) if I can get the same results out of something for a lot less. However I would rather get something done right first time and save myself a lot of hassle and end up with a better product (learnt that the hard way with my suspension) I know of an rb25 with a chipped stock computer and it runs like a pig (could just be a shitty tune + many other factors). So i guess the question is will chipping my standard ecu give me reasonable reliable power without my car and still run clean? How many other people have this done with similar mods? Whats the best type of chip to get and who can supply/fit/tune? Sorry for the vague question but I wanna make sure I get it done right and there are a lot of different information out there thanks
