the cop car doing that steve is trying to find out what sort of speeds that they were doing....or getting close to it Really do feel sorry for ya loss Lawson no one deserves to die so young and by the pics of the guy he doesnt look past 20 to me that is really really sad....my heart goes out to the grieving families and everyone involved this accident was just plain stupidity though...the roads in Adelaide are terrible and to do those sort of speeds on roads like this and in a built up area is just un called for Now this will make the "COP HEAT" on all import drivers even worse As someone has mentioned earlier.....young people please please learn from this tragic accident....these cars are very underestimated from time to time and can be a weapon of disaster if used improperly.....certainly has open my eyes to the whole speeding and things like that.....even creeping just 10 or 5kms over the speed limit can be fatal....so keep that in mind....speed limits are on the roads as the engineers and all the relevant bodies involved have deemed it safe to use that sort of speeds....going over that is just talking a really big risk RIP mate

well those diffusers that your talking about luke is getting a few complains from some of the teams. they are saying that some teams have gone beyond the rules in designing those diffusers. yeah i can see your point on that now too i always thought of what i have got done was a sorta permit like thingo maybe i am just taking a different spin on this but if your talking about going in to motor reg and acquiring a permit that way they hell yes...they want to know everything and its even written on your permit slip so if a cop pulls you over on a different street or different area...then your pretty much f***ed

well said pete and thanks for the support ohh yeah steve....i noticed one thing though the cars look terrible this season last season the cars looked much much better it was interesting to see one of the renault drivers $50+K steering wheel its got so so many controls....i would be going wtf is going on here and the drivers make changes (well some) while they are going full pace....amazing just amazing

pete i think nathan is talking about getting the defected item off his car and getting the cop shop to sign it off so that you can still drive it well thats what i have done anyway....i think you can only do that if your defect is listed as a minor and you can provide the cop shop with you regency booking number, date and time

well i cleaned my car to the best that i could after work being tired as f**k will see the peeps tomorrow

Yep i have been...well i still am technically got defected for it....removed it....got the cop shop to sign it off so that i can still drive it around ie tomorrow going to the show etc

wow it was good to see the friday prac session Rosberg is really showing some good pace around albert park Hamilton on the other hand is really strugling with his car by the looks of it....so many drivers making major errors on turns 1 and 3.....should make for an exciting race me thinks Ferrari didnt do too bad had Massa in the top 10 and Raikonen just outside the top 10 Webber did an excellent job of finishing i think 4th from memory But how about the Brawn GP drivers....certainly suprising effort by them....its pretty much the Honda team using a different engine.....by that i mean the staffing is still the same with a few minor changes all and all good session to watch IMHO as drivers were really really struggling at stages of the 90min prac session so hopefully for Webbers sake he can put in a good lap during the qualifying stage and get himself on the front row or thereabouts...

well i am going to just get the car cleaned up and wash it up and have a early night in as its a very very very early start for me tomorrow specially on a Saturday.....
