I Stupidly Bought Repairable Write Off Unknowingly
R34GT-T replied to blaylock's topic in General Automotive Discussion
This repairable Write-off list is a joke.... There is nothing wrong with your car, as a matter of fact it probably has a lot of newer parts on it than most. Insurance Accesser's are putting cars on that god damn list for no good reason. There are plenty of dodgy cars that get patched up all the time and people will never know about it or ever be put on the list. ( be glad your in the know) On the plus side yours has been recognized as such and will be repaired and inspected to be as good as new. get over it people..... next time do a v-check and if repairable write-off comes up re-negotiate the price to favour you. -
Another SAU success story!!!!!

Yellow Fever (restoring R33 And R34 Model Headlights)
R34GT-T replied to Chang's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
That works! The 33 can look so good with polished headlights... I've done quite a few now. -
Most cars have an adjuster. looks like a little cog that you can lever slowly with a flat blade screw driver. I did a 370z on the weekend only I adjusted them up not down. Park 1 meter away from a white wall, put the lights on and adjust. 10mm of adjustment of the beam on the wall will give you about 5-10m on the ground (most cars vary)

Anybody Know A Good Headlight Reconditioner

Obviously didn't spend much time reading through the pages regarding Crystalite. This is an ADR compliant product. It does not change white light. have lab test graphs and 9 months of adr trails to prove. So it is a LEGAL mod. love it or hate it. -----all other forms of tinted lights - and yes your dead right. BTW It is removeable......
