  2. I think what every one is getting at is..... Is it really worth the 1-1.6k + modifications to gain another 9rwkw. Push the stocker to the limit then when it hits the brick wall swap it. That way if you never end up pushing it just that little bit harder you haven't wasted near 1.5-2k on 9rwkw.
  3. My coils have decided to go kaput. Hopefully I get them in time, previous parts I order from nengun took 1month. :S If I need to step aside due to reaching the target I have no problems doing so. If so I will still be there.

  5. I think you are confusing the injector resistor pack with the coil ignitor that is located towards the back of the motor on the coil cover. The ignitior must be secure, some have had ignitors die by letting them float around, which is quite obviously really. The injector resistor pack is a rectangle shinny silver thing that holds 6 ceramic resistors, one + feed enters that splits in to 6 wires that then run to each injector. The resistor pack is held by 2 screws.
  6. Grab a resistor pack from a R30 or 280zx. Cheap as chips, the male 8pin plug can also be bought from your local auto shop, navara I believe the brand is make the plugs..
  7. The ONLY issue I can see with using the Rb26 pfc is if you don't also connect an inlet air temp sensor. It may cause the ecu to do funky things until you throw a datalogit on it to or air temp sensor. But it may not..
  8. AM-Performance runs an R32 AP Engineering PFC in his GTS4 gt35r monster. Runs puuurfectly.. Those 4wd launches are ..... quite interesting. Stop speculating people, there's no reason (pinout wise) why the ap engineering pfc or modified rb25 pfc won't work in the gts4.
  9. The HKS low mount looks damn nice, you can visualise how it flows considerably better than the stock exh. mani. I've checked out Bl4ck32's. He's had it sitting there for god knows how long.

  15. infected flow, nar no shit fight... The stock manifold tends to 'really' hit a brick wall at around if not slightly before 300rwkw. But as you said... good gains can be had earlier. The crappy china manifold the op is comparing to shiet and worth while sticking with the stock manifold. What manifold did you go with out of curiosity?

  17. You'll never be able to know before its occured, only as it starts to occur I would imagine.
  18. No point going a turbo where you wont use the airflow capability. Unless your willing to either drop in an rb30det or at bare minimum throw a set gtr rods and crank at your rb20. On the 3ltr the gt35r kicks nicely at around 3.5k.
  19. I'm hoping its going to open soon as I wish to run mine down before a decent turbo is dropped on it. We used to have an old 1/4 marked out down Aldinga way, as we got older the next generation kept the markings fresh, wonder if they are still there.
  20. Depending on turbine housing size but with a guess, .82 close to 6.5k and .63 maybe close to 6k? It is a stab in the dark but it wouldn't be too far off. The GT35r is a big turbo for a little 2ltr.
  21. I ran in to this problem as I run 2 pumps.. volts were dropping to 11 something volts. Drop it in tank Ash, Shaun knows how to get them sitting nice so they are quiet.

  24. Which I think is a load of crap... Its incorrect for one car that has been setup poorly to have its dyno reading inflated due to greater IAT's. It should be based on amb that places a small correction on the run; close the bonnet do the power run and thats it. I'm not saying that towards you, its towards dyno dynamics. As what are you to dyno dynamics apart from using the product? sfa. However, can you see my point of view? I'm very aware that a dyno is a tuning tool and power figures should be taken with a pinch of salt since right back when I had my first dyno run on an old analogue needle swinging pice of crap.. (~9yrs ago) My view is that if a car is making up close to 200rwkw well its getting up there and most definitely not making a stock 125rwkw. +- ~20-30rwkw, outside of that and I tend to start thinking some one is playing funny buggers. MR331307, please don't get personal towards other forum members. Functional discussions get us all places, dysfunctional gets us no where.
