I think it will be interesting to see in the flesh. I've seen some angles where I think, yea.. that looks tough, then others where I think its as ugly as sin. There's no doubt the LS2 motor is an awesome motor. Time will tell if holden have a well built 'quality' car.

Rev more... How much more? I think its a load of crap.. The RB30's rev fine, the problem is they need a free flowing exhaust manifold, hotside and nice cams in order to do so.

Bugger.. Whats this cable from firewall to battery secured to some solid object? Are they like this from factory as I swear mines just sitting there contained within the factory wrinkle plastic cover tubing stuff. So now that you've been through can you shed any tips on what they actually look at? I'm assuming you were standing by watching?

Damn that was almost 4years ago. Coupe-This, The old VLT's have some awesome potential, a recentish dyno day had a mate of mines vlt running 187rwkw with a 2.5" exhaust (no cat) and boost. No other mods. Then the R33's would jump on with the pfc's and make 190rwkwish. The VLT... A very underestimated car.

'Whatsisname' runs the 15w50, he moved from the 10w40, not completely sure why. It is making up around 300rwkw and soon to be over.

When I had my R32 dyno'd there too was an R33 that was 100% dead stock. Mine 100% stock made 115rwkw, the R33 made 125rwkw. After an exhaust, fmic and a little boost the same R33 went on to make 178rwkw. That R33 was featured in a Zoom magazine around 3.5years ago. It was featuring a fuel pressure reg bleeder and I also remeber the same R33 was used in a stock ic vs aftermarket fmic pressure drop test. With a set of slicks it went on to run somewhere in the 12's, I don't remember the exact time. Some who have been around for a while may remember, maybe not remember the 1/4 run as that was not featured in zoom. Then there was the one freak R33, Running an exhaust and a bit of boost it was a slow POS making 160 something rwkw. He dropped an fmic in and it simply went crazy, ~200rwkw, once again I forget the exact figure as it has been some time, it went on to run a low 13sec 1/4. So the power was backed up by its 1/4 run. That was a 95 series 1.5 freak. I truley do believe there are so called freak R33 ecu's, this r33 in question had no signs of R&R it was a perfect power curve with perfect afr's on the stock ecu. There were other R33's at the time with the same mods making high 170's so it was 100% a freak, no safc nothing, just a freak. My R32 at the time was making 152rwkw on 12psi, exhaust & stock ic. I spanked the R33 before he dropped in the fmic, the fmic for what ever reason really woke it up. I still don't understand it.

Yer I was pointing out both the .63 and .82 come with the 71mm 56trim. I don't like lag so for the street I would go the .63. If you find its too restrictive work out something with your local turbo bloke, the local turbo bloke down here suggested I can try either housing. Then keep what ever works best. What have others used in the rb20det 260rwkw turbo thread?

Are you sure 5ltrs? Motul 300v only comes in 4 and 2ltr bottles. So you must buy 6litres for a service one time then only 4 another.

You said camsssssss... Being $220 for 2 sticks to be reground? If so thats not bad... What do you mean by the second bit... isn't as much to gain using the 25de non-vvt cams. Is that compared to the regrind or the std rb26 cams?

In short. New battery, asked for top right positive, didn't double check, was in a rush, connected negative lead to positive, grabbed positive lead went to connect to negative battery, it touched sparked, 75amp fuse made a loud pop, 10amp fuse under dash popped multiple resistors and a couple of capacitors crapped them selves within the ecu. It was a cheap battery (mines in for warranty) so there were no colour markings and the slight + - markings are so damn hard to see its not funny, especially at dusk which is when I dropped the battery in. So yes something so simple yet so so stupid. lmao.. I was lucky.

Yes I agree.... I've been looking around and going to settle on a nice Logitech. The normal keyboard does me fine and feels quite natural at a slight angle using the wasd keys.
